Destacada empresa agrícola en Latinoamérica está en búsqueda de un Gerente de Operaciones Agrícolas con experiencia en la gestión de procesos productivos,optimización de operaciones y liderazgo de equipos. El candidato ideal deberá tener una sólida formación técnica, experiencia en la implementación de Buenas Prácticas Agrícolas (GAP), y la capacidad para coordinar todas las operaciones relacionadas con el desarrollo y mejoramiento genético de plantas (breeding), asegurando la eficiencia y el crecimiento sostenible de la empresa. Responsabilidades: Planificar, coordinar y supervisar todas las actividades relacionadas con el desarrollo y mejoramiento de cultivos (breeding), asegurando que los objetivos de calidad y productividad sean alcanzados. Asegurar el cumplimiento de los estándares de calidad en todas las etapas del proceso productivo. Liderar equipos multidisciplinarios, promoviendo un ambiente de trabajo colaborativo y eficiente. Gestionar el uso y mantenimiento de la maquinaria y equipos necesarios para los procesos agrícolas. Desarrollar e implementar estrategias para optimizar los procesos de producción y mejorar la calidad genética de los cultivos. Monitorear el cumplimiento de las normativas de seguridad y sostenibilidad agrícola. Elaborar presupuestos, controlar los costos operativos y garantizar un uso eficiente de los recursos financieros. Evaluar nuevas tecnologías y prácticas agrícolas innovadoras para impulsar la productividad y la calidad. Colaborar con otras áreas de la empresa, como ventas y logística, para asegurar una integración eficiente de las operaciones. Mantener relaciones sólidas con proveedores, contratistas y otros stakeholders clave. Presentar informes periódicos a la alta dirección sobre el rendimiento y el progreso de las operaciones. Implementar y supervisar Buenas Prácticas Agrícolas (GAP) en todas las operaciones, garantizando el cumplimiento de las normativas de seguridad, sostenibilidad y calidad. Requirements Título universitario en Ingeniería Agrónoma, Agrícola o áreas afines. Mínimo 5 años de experiencia en un rol similar dentro del sector agrícola. Conocimiento profundo de los procesos de breeding y desarrollo genético de cultivos. Habilidades de liderazgo comprobadas, con experiencia en la gestión de equipos grandes y diversos. Capacidad para tomar decisiones estratégicas y resolver problemas en un entorno dinámico. Flexibilidad y disposición para residir en zonas rurales o áreas de operación agrícola. Habilidades de comunicación efectiva y capacidad para relacionarse con diferentes niveles de la organización. Dominio del inglés. Experiencia previa con sistemas de gestión agrícola o herramientas tecnológicas para la mejora de procesos es deseable.
