The posting

Ein kleines, profitables Industrieunternehmen in der Ostschweiz entwickelt und baut anspruchsvolle Geräte für Forschungslabore weltweit und regelt jetzt die Nachfolge seines Inhabers. Sie übernehmen zuerst die technische und operative Verantwortung und danach die Führung des Unternehmens.

Die Rolle

Sie berichten direkt an den Inhaber und Geschäftsführer, der heute noch alles selbst verantwortet, und übernehmen schrittweise seine Aufgaben bis zur Geschäftsführung. Der Gründer bleibt danach im Verwaltungsrat. Arbeitsort ist die Ostschweiz, vor Ort, mit rund 10 % internationaler Reisetätigkeit für Inbetriebnahmen, Kundenbesuche und Messen.

Ihre Aufgaben

  • Die bestehenden Produkte technisch betreuen und weiterentwickeln, einschliesslich der neuen Gerätesteuerung.
  • Geräte selbst montieren, prüfen, reparieren und bei Kunden weltweit in Betrieb nehmen, bis die Montage an einen Fertigungspartner übergeht.
  • Technische Projekte führen und Qualität, Termine und Kosten verantworten, mit Lieferanten, Fertigungspartnern, Prüfinstituten und Distributoren.
  • Kalkulationen, Kostenschätzungen und Offerten erstellen und die technische Dokumentation führen.
  • Kunden an Universitäten, Forschungsinstituten und Laboren direkt betreuen, vor Ort, an Messen und an Kongressen.

Ihr Profil

  • Ingenieur FH (ehemals HTL) oder Techniker mit fundierter Praxis in Fertigung, Montage und mechanischen oder elektromechanischen Systemen; Automation, Steuerungstechnik, Hydraulik oder Pneumatik sind ein Plus.
  • Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Leitung technischer Projekte aus einem KMU oder industriellen Umfeld, idealerweise mit Führung kleiner Teams oder externer Partner.
  • Betriebswirtschaftliches Verständnis: Kalkulationen, Offerten und ein ausgeprägtes Kostenbewusstsein.
  • Sie packen selbst an, entscheiden klar und setzen Vereinbartes konsequent durch; ein Praktiker, kein Theoretiker.
  • Fliessend Deutsch und gutes Englisch, Führerausweis Kategorie B und Wohnsitz in der Region.
