Hillcrest Millard provides post-acute rehabilitation and long-term care in a modern, supportive environment focused on helping guests and residents recover, maintain independence, and feel comfortable and cared for. As a Nurse Tech, you will help bring that mission to life by providing hands-on care, supporting daily routines, and helping guests and residents feel safe, respected, and comfortable throughout the evening. What You’ll Do As an Evening Nurse Tech, you will work closely with nurses and other care team members to provide personalized support during one of the busiest parts of the day. You will:
Provide quality personal care and daily living support for guests and residents. Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, hygiene, mobility, and other personal-care needs. Support guests and residents with meals, dining, hydration, and evening routines. Assist with transfers, repositioning, and mobility as needed. Respond promptly to call lights and requests for assistance. Help guests and residents feel safe, comfortable, respected, and cared for. Observe for changes in condition, behavior, or needs and communicate concerns to the nurse. Follow individualized care plans and guest or resident preferences. Complete required documentation accurately and on time. Support bedtime routines and help residents settle in comfortably for the night. Follow established infection-control, safety, and care procedures. Build positive relationships with guests, residents, families, and fellow team members. Jump in and help wherever needed to keep the evening running smoothly.

Education & Credentials
Active Nebraska CNA certification required. Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant course required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in skilled nursing, post-acute rehabilitation, long-term care, hospital, assisted living, or a similar setting preferred.

Physical & Other Requirements
Must be able to speak, read, and write English. Must be able to safely assist guests and residents with activities of daily living, transfers, mobility, and personal care. Must be able to perform repetitive standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and movement throughout the shift. Must be flexible and calm when responding to guest, resident, family, or team needs. Must have strong attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced care environment. Must be able to utilize electronic documentation systems and other healthcare technology. Must follow established infection-control, safety, and care procedures. Must be available to work an every-other-weekend rotation. Possible exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids. Other duties as assigned.
