Hillcrest Health & Rehab provides skilled nursing, post-acute rehabilitation, and long-term care in a supportive environment focused on helping residents and guests feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. What You’ll Do As a Nurse, you will provide hands-on clinical care while helping coordinate the needs of residents and guests throughout the day. You will:
Provide quality nursing care and support for residents and guests. Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and individualized care plans. Monitor resident and guest conditions and communicate changes promptly. Use strong clinical judgment to recognize concerns and determine appropriate next steps. Support residents and guests with dignity, comfort, and respect. Partner with Nurse Techs, Medication Aides, and other team members to ensure consistent, high-quality care. Complete required clinical documentation accurately and on time. Communicate effectively with residents, guests, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members. Support admissions, transitions, and changes in care needs. Respond calmly and effectively to urgent or changing clinical situations. Follow established infection-control, medication-management, safety, and regulatory standards. Help create a positive, supportive environment for residents, guests, families, and fellow team members. Jump in and help the team wherever needed to keep care running smoothly.

Education & Credentials
Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. Current Nebraska RN or LPN license required. Previous experience in skilled nursing, post-acute rehabilitation, long-term care, memory care, assisted living, hospital, or a similar setting preferred. Basic Life Support/CPR certification required or must be obtained within Hillcrest’s established timeframe.

Physical & Other Requirements
Must be able to speak, read, and write English. Must be able to safely assist residents and guests with care needs, transfers, and mobility as needed. Must be able to perform repetitive sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and movement throughout the shift. Must be flexible and calm when supporting residents, guests, families, and team members during stressful situations. Must have strong attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment. Must be able to utilize electronic documentation systems and other healthcare technology. Must follow established nursing, infection-control, medication, documentation, and safety procedures. Must be available to work an every-other-weekend rotation. Possible exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids. Other duties as assigned.
