Hallo zelfstandig werkend kok! Onze witte brigade is op zoek naar uitbreiding van het team... Wil jij komen koken in het beste hotel van Nijmegen? Solliciteer dan nu!

Wat ga je doen tijdens een dienst in onze keuken? Als zelfstandig werkend kok zorg je, samen met je collega’s, allereerst voor een goede voorbereiding van je shift. Vervolgens schuif je de mooiste en lekkerste gerechten over de pas tijdens de lunch en/of het diner! Samen met onze chefkok Nik en souschefs Tim en Mitch kijk je welke partie het beste bij jou past en waar je talenten liggen, zodat je elke dag weer het beste uit jezelf kunt halen. We maken er een sport van om de verwachtingen van de gast elke keer weer te overtreffen en dit verwachten we natuurlijk ook van jou!

Belangrijkste taken en verantwoordelijkheden: Plezier hebben in je werk, lekker koken én onze gasten blij maken! Daarnaast verricht je natuurlijk alle taken die horen bij het mooie koksvak.

Waarom wil jij bij ons werken? In onze keuken werk je 32 of 40 uur per week, die je in overleg met de chefs verdeelt over 4 of 5 dagen, omdat wij een werk-privébalans heel belangrijk vinden. Je krijgt iedere 4 weken je salaris, je deelt mee in de fooi (altijd lekker), krijgt een feestdagentoeslag en… onze keuken heeft airco! We bieden jou een werkplek waar je jezelf kunt ontwikkelen. Je kunt deelnemen aan (online) trainingen en workshops die gegeven worden door zeer ervaren collega's. Nog een pluspuntje: iedere werkdag kies je een voedzame en gezonde maaltijd van onze menukaart! Ook krijg je 50% korting op een verblijf bij onze collega-hotels en organiseren we elk kwartaal een gezellige borrel met alle collega's om elkaar buiten het werk ook eens op een andere manier te spreken.

Wat maakt jou de perfecte collega? Als onze ideale collega heb jij een afgeronde SVH opleiding en heb je al enige ervaring. Je bent 32 tot 40 uur per week beschikbaar, ook in de weekenden en tijdens feestdagen. Vanzelfsprekend ben je een teamplayer en heb je een representatief voorkomen, daarnaast beschik je over een flinke dosis humor want we houden van een geintje bij Van der Valk. Het is prettig wanneer je in de nabije omgeving van het hotel woont, maar we zijn ook heel goed bereikbaar via het OV.
