Location: Clifton Block 9, Karachi, Pakistan

Days and Time: Mon to Fri 9AM to 6PM

Salary: Market Competitive + Commission

Job Description:

Role Famtech is looking for a customer-facing Onboarding Specialist to guide newly signed-up businesses through the onboarding process for a B2B remittance-based payment service. The individual will walk customers through the end-to-end KYB (Know Your Business) process, collect and review their documents, assist with account approval and walk them through their first transaction, highlighting the key steps and features. The individual will work closely with the sales, compliance, and support teams to make every customer's experience seamless.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Technical understanding of cross-border payment platforms.
  2. Pick up new sign-ups from the sales team and make first contact promptly.
  3. Walk customers through onboarding steps, timelines, and required documents to help them complete business verification (KYB).
  4. Collect and check customers business documents such as registration certificates, ownership details, and IDs to complete the registration process.
  5. Stay in touch with potential customers, following up on missing or incorrect information to ensure a smooth submission process.
  6. Stay updated with the fintech platform and competitors to demo key features and settings relevant to different businesses.
  7. Work with the compliance team to resolve queries and get accounts approved.
  8. Hand over fully onboarded clients smoothly to the support or account management team.
  9. Check in after go-live to make sure clients are using the product with confidence.
  10. Share client feedback to help improve the onboarding process and product.
  11. Keep all client records, documents and progress updated in the CRM.
  12. Meet onboarding targets for turnaround time and completion rates.
  13. Share regular onboarding updates and reports with your manager.
  14. Handle all client data with strict confidentiality.
  15. Track onboarding status and follow up until the first transaction is completed.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree.
  2. 2 years of experience in fintech, client onboarding, KYC/KYB, customer success, or a similar role.
  3. Excellent written and spoken English for an international customer-facing role.
  4. Strong organization and time management to handle several onboardings at once Professionalism and discretion with sensitive information.
  5. Comfortable with Google Workspace, WhatsApp, Google Chat.
  6. Experience with CRM systems and dashboards.
  7. Understanding of KYB/AML processes is a strong plus.
  8. Experience in fintech, banking or payments is a plus.
