Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Claims Handler to manage end-to-end claims processes with a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and stakeholder communication. This role involves handling claims from lodgement to resolution, ensuring SLA adherence, and delivering high-quality service within a fast-paced financial services environment.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Claims Management Manage end-to-end claims lifecycle including lodgement, documentation, and resolution Ensure all claims are processed accurately within defined SLA timelines Maintain updated and accurate records in CRM systems
  • Follow-ups & Coordination Proactively track claims and conduct regular follow-ups with insurers Coordinate with third parties such as assessors and repairers Escalate delayed or complex claims in a timely manner
  • Stakeholder Management Liaise with brokers to provide timely updates and support Coordinate with insurers to ensure smooth claim processing Respond to client queries (via brokers) with clear and professional communication
  • Reporting & Analysis Prepare and deliver accurate claims reports within deadlines Analyze claim trends, bottlenecks, and performance gaps Ensure data accuracy and integrity across reporting systems
  • Compliance & Process Improvement Ensure adherence to internal policies and insurer requirements Maintain high accuracy in claims documentation and CRM updates Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
  • Self-Development Participate in training programs and continuous learning initiatives Build knowledge in insurance products and claims processes

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in claims handling, insurance, or broking roles
  • Exposure to international insurance processes (e.g., Australian insurance) is an added advantage

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple claims and deadlines effectively
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and reporting tools
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
