Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka Employment Type: Full Time Industry: Conglomerate

Role Overview

We are seeking a customer-focused and enthusiastic Customer Experience Specialist to join a fast-paced customer support environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling customer inquiries across multiple communication channels, delivering timely solutions, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about customer service, possess strong communication skills, and can effectively support customers while working in a dynamic roster-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries across multiple communication channels in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide accurate information and effective solutions to customer concerns and service requests.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience by ensuring all interactions are handled efficiently and professionally.
  • Resolve customer issues while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Escalate complex issues to relevant teams when required and follow through until resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and support activities.
  • Support customer engagement initiatives and contribute to service quality improvements.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure efficient issue resolution.
  • Stay updated on company products, services, promotions, and operational procedures.
  • Support operational targets through consistent and effective customer service delivery.

Candidate Profile

  • Passed G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination or an equivalent qualification.
  • Fluent in Sinhala and English.
  • Tamil language proficiency will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good understanding of digital platforms and social media channels.
  • Previous experience in a Call Centre, CRM Environment, Customer Service, Customer Support, or Hospitality Industry will be an added advantage.
  • School leavers are welcome to apply.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
  • Flexible to work on a roster basis, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team.

Working Conditions

  • Roster-based work schedule.
  • Night shifts, weekends, and public holiday shifts may be required.
  • Onsite working environment.
