About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Executive – Finance to support key financial operations, including petty cash management, bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting, and payment processing.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining compliance with internal controls, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. This position is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has a strong eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Reconciliations

  • Manage petty cash operations while ensuring proper controls, documentation, and compliance procedures are maintained.
  • Perform regular petty cash reconciliations and support periodic audits.
  • Conduct timely bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies between company records and bank statements.
  • Update financial records based on reconciled transactions and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances or discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve reconciliation issues and maintain supporting documentation.

Payments & Financial Administration

  • Process and manage ad hoc payments, including vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and miscellaneous expenses.
  • Verify supporting documentation and ensure required approvals are obtained before processing payments.
  • Ensure payment activities comply with company policies, internal controls, and financial regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of payment transactions and supporting documentation.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Support financial audits by preparing documentation and coordinating audit requirements.
  • Contribute to financial analysis and reporting to support management decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and files.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in internal audits and support the implementation of process improvements and control enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
  • Experience handling petty cash management and payment processing.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and internal control practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
