Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Factory Accountant to support financial operations within a manufacturing environment. This role will act as a key link between Finance and Operations, providing insights, cost analysis, and financial guidance to improve efficiency and support strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cost accounting, budgeting, and operational finance within a factory or manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with factory and operations teams to monitor costs and improve efficiency. Analyze raw material usage, wastage, and overhead costs to identify improvement areas. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for factory operations. Implement cost control measures and ensure compliance with financial policies. Provide financial insights and reporting to support operational decision-making. Prepare performance reports and dashboards with key metrics such as cost per unit and efficiency ratios.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification in CIMA / ACCA / CA (preferred).
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in finance or business partnering, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work closely with operations and influence decision-making.
