About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Functional Consultant to support end-to-end ERP implementation projects and deliver high-quality business solutions for a diverse portfolio of clients.

The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to analyze business processes, configure Sage X3 solutions, facilitate user adoption, and ensure successful project delivery. This role requires strong functional expertise, excellent client engagement skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into efficient ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in Sage X3 implementation and enhancement projects from requirements gathering through post-go-live support.
  • Conduct business process reviews and identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.
  • Gather, analyze, and document functional and business requirements.
  • Configure Sage X3 modules based on client requirements and business processes.
  • Prepare functional specifications and solution design documentation.
  • Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and issue resolution activities.
  • Deliver user training sessions and provide end-user support.
  • Support data migration, system setup, and implementation activities.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, customizations, and reporting requirements.
  • Provide functional guidance and recommendations to clients and project teams.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure deliverables are completed according to agreed timelines.
  • Assist with post-implementation support and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Sage X3 implementation, support, or consulting.
  • Strong functional knowledge of Sage X3 Financial modules, including: General Ledger Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Fixed Assets Financial Reporting
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial business processes.
  • Experience in business process mapping, gap analysis, and requirements gathering.
  • Exposure to Sage X3 Distribution, Inventory, Purchasing, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain modules will be an added advantage.
  • Experience with ERP implementation methodologies and project delivery practices.
  • Knowledge of data migration processes and system integrations.
  • Familiarity with SQL and reporting tools will be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple project priorities.
  • Sage X3 certifications will be considered an added advantage.
