Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Executive – Collection to support credit control and collection activities within a professional Total Quality Assurance environment.

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing outstanding receivables from B2B clients, following up on payments, resolving discrepancies, maintaining accurate records, and supporting smooth collection processes. This role requires strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

Collection & Credit Control

  • Manage and monitor outstanding receivables from B2B clients.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure timely payment collection.
  • Identify payment delays and support the resolution of collection-related issues.
  • Assist in managing client payment follow-ups in a professional and timely manner.

Client Communication & Dispute Resolution

  • Communicate with clients regarding outstanding payments and account clarifications.
  • Resolve payment discrepancies by coordinating with relevant internal teams.
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients while ensuring collection targets are supported.
  • Escalate unresolved payment issues when required.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of collection activities and client communications.
  • Prepare periodic reports on collection status, overdue payments, and aging analysis.
  • Ensure all collection records are updated and properly documented.
  • Support compliance with company policies, financial procedures, and internal controls.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in collections, credit control, or a similar finance-related role.
  • Experience in a financial institution or B2B environment will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Good organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with clients and internal teams.
