WE ARE HIRING: Manager – Sales (Sea Export)

Location: Sri Lanka Employment Type: Full Time Industry: Freight Forwarding / Logistics / Shipping

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented, and customer-focused Manager – Sales (Sea Export) to drive sales growth, strengthen customer relationships, and lead strategic business development initiatives within the sea export sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing key accounts, generating new business opportunities, and ensuring exceptional customer service while supporting the growth of sea export operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and business growth targets.
  • Manage key customer accounts and build strong long-term client relationships.
  • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities to expand the customer portfolio.
  • Generate and manage leads while supporting the complete sales cycle.
  • Coordinate with operational teams to resolve customer issues efficiently and minimize service disruptions.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and service delivery.
  • Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Support business development initiatives that strengthen sea export operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, HSSE requirements, sanctions regulations, anti-money laundering guidelines, whistleblowing procedures, and anti-corruption standards.
  • Promote a strong culture of safety, compliance, and operational excellence within the department.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the logistics or freight forwarding industry in a similar sales role.
  • Strong understanding of sea export operations and customer relationship management.
  • Proven ability to develop business opportunities and achieve sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong English language proficiency, both written and spoken.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong teamwork, time management, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to build long-term client relationships and drive sustainable business growth.
