WE ARE HIRING: Operations Executive (General Pest Control & Termite Control)

Location: Colombo

Employment Type: Full-time (Permanent)

Role Overview

We are looking for a capable and driven Operations Executive to support and grow the General Pest Control and Termite Control division. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining strong client relationships, and coordinating effectively between management, staff, and customers. The position offers clear progression potential, with the opportunity to grow into an Operations Manager role within 2–3 years.

Work Environment & Details

  • Working Hours: 8.30 AM – 5.30 PM, Monday to Saturday (flexibility required based on operational needs).
  • Work Arrangement: Based at Head Office with occasional site visits.
  • Probation: As per company policy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and send accurate quotations to customers in a timely manner.
  • Prepare operational reports.
  • Coordinate with admin staff, technicians, and managers to ensure jobs are scheduled and completed smoothly.
  • Contact customers and schedule jobs, ensuring timely follow-ups.
  • Work with senior technicians and operations executives to allocate technicians for jobs.
  • Plan and manage recurring services under annual maintenance contracts.
  • Overlook job documentation and ensure records are updated in the ERP system (with admin support for data entry).
  • Visit customers occasionally to assess requirements, manage expectations, and maintain strong relationships.
  • Collaborate with management to implement operational improvements and enhance process efficiency.
  • Handle customer complaints in a professional and solution-oriented manner.

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualifications

  • Degree or higher education is preferred but not essential.

Experience

  • Prior experience in operations, scheduling, or customer service will be an advantage.

Preferred Skills / Other Requirements

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and perform under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to ERP systems and AI tools.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability.
  • Flexibility to commit beyond standard office hours when required.
  • Awareness of ISO, HACCP, and safety standards will be an added advantage.
