WE ARE HIRING: Sales Executive

Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka

About the Role

Our client is seeking energetic, results-driven, and customer-focused Sales Executives to support sales growth within the Colombo retail operation. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening dealer and retailer relationships, expanding market coverage, and ensuring excellent customer service within an assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth by achieving monthly and annual sales targets within the assigned territory.
  • Build, maintain, and expand strong relationships with dealers, retailers, distributors, and key customers.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase market penetration and product distribution.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to ensure strong market presence and customer engagement.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, market trends, and customer feedback.
  • Implement sales initiatives to improve market share and territory performance.
  • Provide product support and respond effectively to customer concerns and inquiries.
  • Maintain long-term business relationships with customers and channel partners.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports and market intelligence updates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and product availability.

Requirements

  • Diploma or professional qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Proven sales experience in the Hardware, Construction Materials, Building Materials, Paints, or related sectors is essential.
  • Strong passion for developing a successful career in sales leadership.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and perform effectively within a high-performing team.
  • Strong customer-focused mindset and commercial awareness.
  • Good territory management and business development capabilities.
  • Valid driving or motorcycle licence.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
