About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Senior Executive – Operational Planning & Solutions to support transport planning, logistics coordination, operational excellence, and customer service delivery within a fast-paced transportation environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing delivery operations, improving vehicle utilization, maintaining stakeholder relationships, resolving operational issues, and driving service excellence across transportation and logistics activities.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Planning & Coordination

  • Plan and organize deliveries efficiently to maximize vehicle utilization and minimize idle time.
  • Coordinate transportation activities to ensure timely and cost-effective service delivery.
  • Monitor operational performance and proactively address issues that may impact service quality.
  • Support efficient fleet and delivery planning to achieve operational targets.

Customer & Supplier Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Develop effective working relationships with suppliers and operational partners.
  • Ensure customer requirements are understood and addressed promptly.
  • Support the delivery of exceptional customer service standards.

Problem Resolution & Operational Excellence

  • Resolve delivery-related issues proactively and efficiently.
  • Address operational challenges relating to pickup, transit, and delivery activities.
  • Ensure compliance with customer-specific, operational, and security-related procedures.
  • Monitor operational risks and implement corrective actions where necessary.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Prepare operational reports, presentations, and business updates for management.
  • Conduct analysis related to operational requirements and performance improvements.
  • Monitor account profitability and support cost reduction initiatives.
  • Identify operational savings opportunities and process improvements.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Monitor internal and external NCRs and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, operational standards, and customer requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational performance and service delivery.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Guide, mentor, and support team members to align with organizational values and operational standards.
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence.
  • Contribute to employee development and knowledge sharing activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics Management will be an added advantage.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Good computer literacy and operational reporting skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
