About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Lead – Process Automation to lead enterprise-scale automation initiatives across RPA, AI-powered automation, and Microsoft Power Platform technologies. This role is responsible for driving automation strategy, leading technical teams, establishing governance standards, and delivering scalable automation solutions that enable operational excellence and business transformation.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, deep automation expertise, and hands-on experience delivering intelligent automation solutions within enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of automation developers while building technical capabilities across the team.
  • Own end-to-end solution architecture across UiPath, Microsoft Power Platform, AI-powered automation, and custom-built components.
  • Define development standards, reusable frameworks, governance models, security controls, and reusable component libraries.
  • Drive the automation delivery pipeline, including opportunity assessment, prioritization, effort estimation, delivery planning, and benefits realization.
  • Establish and mature enterprise intelligent automation practices, including AI-driven automation, agent orchestration, evaluation frameworks, and governance controls.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities and support process re-engineering initiatives.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, platforms, and tools to drive innovation and business value.
  • Own technical documentation standards, including Solution Design Documents, architecture documents, operational guides, and project documentation.
  • Lead DevOps and code management practices, including source control, code reviews, branching strategies, environment management, and CI/CD governance.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and Process Analysts to validate requirements, assess feasibility, and ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Present solution roadmaps, business cases, delivery outcomes, and technical recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure delivery quality, adherence to timelines, and compliance with IT governance and information security requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience delivering automation solutions within enterprise environments.
  • UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer certification is mandatory.
  • UiPath AI Professional Certification is mandatory.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate, including cloud and desktop flows.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Power Apps, including Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and Dataverse.
  • Proven experience leading automation teams and managing enterprise automation programmes.
  • Working knowledge of process excellence methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Git, Azure DevOps, source control management, pull requests, code reviews, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong technical documentation skills, including architecture documentation, solution design, and operational manuals.
  • Experience developing automation frameworks, reusable components, integrations, APIs, and enterprise solutions.
  • Strong understanding of AI-first automation, intelligent agents, governance frameworks, and automation best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to provide technical leadership while maintaining hands-on involvement in solution delivery.
