The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business Applications Architect based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to shape the architecture, scalability, and governance of critical enterprise business applications within a growing global organization. You will serve as a technical leader across Salesforce and native ecosystem solutions, including Certinia for professional services automation and financial management. Working closely with business leaders, technical teams, and external implementation partners, you will translate complex requirements into scalable and secure solutions. The position combines strategic architectural ownership with hands-on technical problem-solving and platform optimization. You will help drive major business transformations while maintaining strong data integrity, security, and governance standards. This is a fully remote, full-time opportunity with limited travel and significant scope to influence enterprise technology strategy.

Accountabilities:

  • Own the overarching technical architecture, data strategy, scalability, and technical design of Salesforce and Certinia environments in alignment with broader enterprise priorities.
  • Lead architecture and implementation initiatives for new Certinia modules, including Services Estimator and Financial Management Cloud, as well as other Salesforce platform expansions.
  • Design and maintain Salesforce data models, complex automation Flows, and bi-directional integration frameworks using technologies such as asynchronous APIs and webhooks.
  • Translate complex business requirements into technical blueprints, solution architectures, data models, and implementation plans in collaboration with stakeholders across multiple departments.
  • Provide technical governance, architecture reviews, and oversight for external implementation partners and internal technical teams.
  • Establish and enforce architectural standards, security controls, release management practices, and data governance processes.
  • Serve as a senior technical escalation point for complex platform issues, performance optimization, system refactoring, and solution integrity.
  • Partner with the Director of Business Applications to define the technical roadmap, assess emerging technologies, and guide the architecture and delivery of large-scale enterprise initiatives.
  • Evaluate technical tradeoffs and ensure solutions remain scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with long-term business objectives.
  • Support cross-functional teams by providing architectural guidance, technical expertise, and clear communication throughout solution design and delivery.
  • 5–8+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and architecting solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Experience architecting native Salesforce applications, ideally including Certinia PSA/ERP or comparable native enterprise solutions.
  • Proven track record designing data models, delivering large-scale platform implementations, and supporting system integrations through integration frameworks and middleware.
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, security and sharing rules, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWCs), and declarative automation.
  • Hands-on experience with native AppExchange applications and integrations, such as DocuSign CLM, SurveyVista, or middleware solutions.
  • Strong ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical designs and architecture documentation.
  • Experience guiding external implementation partners and technical teams while enforcing architectural standards and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues and evaluate tradeoffs.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts and decisions to non-technical business leaders.
  • Salesforce Application Architect, System Architect, or relevant Certinia certifications are preferred.
  • Collaborative mindset with a strong commitment to platform health, data governance, security, and solution quality.
  • Starting salary range of $90,000–$105,000, depending on experience, transferable skills, training, business needs, and market conditions.
  • Fully remote working flexibility.
  • Full-time, salaried position.
  • Health and dental insurance with a choice of plans.
  • 100% employer-paid short-term disability and life insurance.
  • Option to elect additional life insurance and long-term disability coverage at the employee’s expense.
  • Paid parental leave.
  • Pre-tax flexible spending account options.
  • 401(k) with employer match.
  • Generous paid time off.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • Travel requirements of less than 10%.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
