You’ll work closely with business leaders, system owners, developers, and end users to understand challenges and translate them into effective requirements. The position combines business analysis, project support, system optimization, testing, quality assurance, and technical problem-solving. You’ll help evaluate existing systems, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop recommendations that support better business outcomes. Strong communication and stakeholder management will be essential as you navigate complex requirements and explain technical concepts to diverse audiences. You’ll manage multiple projects with limited direction while maintaining a strong focus on quality, timelines, and customer satisfaction. The role also provides an opportunity to mentor other analysts and contribute to continuous improvement across the organization.

Accountabilities:

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation covering databases, production processes, business requirements, and project deliverables.
  • Conduct interviews, workshops, surveys, and other discovery activities with business leaders, end users, system owners, and stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into clear, structured business analysis documentation.
  • Partner closely with development teams throughout solution design, development, and implementation to ensure requirements remain aligned with project objectives.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders and provide ongoing support to identify, investigate, and resolve system or project issues.
  • Create and maintain detailed requirements documentation that aligns customer expectations with project deliverables.
  • Develop test cases and participate in unit, integration, user acceptance, and other testing activities to validate system functionality and quality.
  • Identify, document, and track defects and coordinate with development teams to support timely resolution.
  • Prepare reports, recommendations, alternatives, cost-benefit analyses, and return-on-investment assessments to support technology and implementation decisions.
  • Evaluate existing systems and operating processes to identify opportunities for optimization, enhancement, and improved performance.
  • Manage multiple projects with limited supervision while maintaining priorities, deadlines, and a strong customer-service focus.
  • Perform intermediate to complex system maintenance and configuration activities.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts in clear, user-friendly language to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Exercise independent judgment when managing complex assignments and resolving challenges.
  • Mentor and support other business analysts by sharing knowledge, guidance, and best practices.
  • Adapt to changing business requirements, project priorities, and organizational needs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline from a four-year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing software, hardware, systems, or technology solutions.
  • Strong understanding of software design concepts and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and demonstrated project management capabilities.
  • Working knowledge of relational database technologies and the ability to write and understand moderately complex database queries.
  • Experience importing and preparing data for reports, spreadsheets, graphs, flowcharts, or similar business analysis outputs.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Visio.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to understand business processes while managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage complex projects with limited direction.
  • Strong customer-service orientation and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Industry-standard certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to obtain required government clearance after hire; U.S. citizenship is required to obtain the applicable government clearance.
  • Ability to successfully complete required background checks and drug testing.
  • Starting salary of $68,000 per year, with actual compensation determined by qualifications and experience.
  • Fully remote position within the United States.
  • Opportunity to work across business analysis, technology, systems optimization, testing, and project management.
  • Exposure to cross-functional projects and collaboration with business leaders, developers, system owners, and end users.
  • Opportunities to mentor colleagues and contribute to organizational improvements.
  • Professional growth opportunities within a collaborative and innovation-focused environment.
  • Inclusive workplace committed to equal employment opportunity.
  • Supportive environment focused on employee development, leadership growth, and continuous improvement.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
