The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Full Stack Developer Lead based in United States.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role combining team management with active software development. You will lead a Full Stack Developer team while contributing directly to backend services, APIs, front-end applications, and system integrations. The role spans modern .NET development, Angular, SQL Server, Microsoft Azure, authentication, messaging, monitoring, and automation. You will help shape coding standards, technical architecture, development practices, and the team's overall engineering capabilities. Working closely with technical and business stakeholders, you will translate requirements into secure, reliable, and scalable solutions. You will also play a key role in resolving complex production issues, mentoring developers, and improving team performance. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced developer who enjoys combining technical ownership, people leadership, and hands-on engineering in a fully remote environment

Accountabilities

  • Lead and manage the Full Stack Developer team by assigning and prioritizing work, setting expectations, and overseeing day-to-day capacity and workload.
  • Manage team performance through regular one-on-ones, feedback, goal-setting, coaching, and participation in performance reviews.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers, helping team members strengthen their skills and overcome technical challenges.
  • Lead code reviews and establish consistent coding standards, architectural patterns, and development best practices across backend and front-end applications.
  • Lead onboarding and training for new developers, including technical systems, development tools, supplier integrations, and relevant business-domain knowledge.
  • Serve as a technical escalation point for complex issues and production incidents, guiding troubleshooting, investigation, and root-cause analysis.
  • Contribute to technical design and architecture decisions while helping establish the long-term direction of the development environment.
  • Report team progress, capacity, technical risks, and priorities to senior development leadership and represent the team in cross-functional planning.
  • Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs and Azure Functions using C#, ASP.NET Web API, and .NET Core/.NET 8/9.
  • Build and maintain Angular-based front-end features for internal tools and customer- or partner-facing applications.
  • Implement and troubleshoot authentication and authorization using OAuth, OpenID Connect, PKCE, and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL Server stored procedures across SQL Server 2014–2022, including indexing and query performance tuning.
  • Develop and support Azure Service Bus queue processing and retry mechanisms for reliable message handling.
  • Deploy, host, and monitor APIs and services using Azure Container Apps.
  • Monitor application health and troubleshoot production issues using Azure Application Insights and Kusto queries.
  • Develop PowerShell automation supporting AWS SSO administration, VPN troubleshooting, and network-related activities.
  • Collaborate with analysts, project managers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Contribute to projects involving supplier integrations and other technology initiatives while developing the necessary domain knowledge.
  • Prior experience leading, mentoring, or providing technical direction to developers, ideally in a hands-on development lead capacity.
  • Advanced proficiency in C#, including .NET Framework, .NET Core, REST APIs, and Azure Functions.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including SQL Server stored procedures, query optimization, performance tuning, indexing, and troubleshooting.
  • Intermediate PowerShell experience for automation, AWS SSO, and VPN or network troubleshooting.
  • Advanced experience with ASP.NET Web API, REST API development, authentication, and system integrations.
  • Advanced knowledge of .NET Core and modern .NET versions, including .NET 8/9 and Azure Functions isolated worker architecture.
  • Strong understanding of OAuth, OpenID Connect, PKCE, and Microsoft Entra ID authentication flows.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/ES6+, and a major front-end framework such as Angular, React, or Vue.
  • Advanced Microsoft Azure experience, particularly with Function Apps, Azure Service Bus, Container Apps, and Application Insights.
  • Strong experience with Azure Service Bus queue processing and reliable retry patterns.
  • Experience with Azure Application Insights and Kusto Query Language for application monitoring and diagnostics.
  • Advanced proficiency with Visual Studio, VS Code, and SQL Server Management Studio.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience conducting code reviews and establishing or enforcing engineering standards and best practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with supplier or partner system integrations and CI/CD is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems and order or fulfillment workflows is a plus.
  • Experience onboarding and mentoring junior or mid-level developers is advantageous.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments and delivering features from concept through deployment.
  • Familiarity with AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar technologies to accelerate development, code review, and productivity.
  • Fully remote position within the United States.
  • Full-time employment.
  • Opportunity to combine people leadership with hands-on software development.
  • Exposure to modern .NET, Angular, Azure, cloud services, APIs, messaging, and application monitoring technologies.
  • Opportunity to influence development standards, architecture, engineering practices, and technical direction.
  • Mentorship and team-development responsibilities with opportunities to support the growth of other developers.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with technical, analytical, project management, and business teams.
  • Opportunity to work with AI-powered coding and development tools to improve engineering productivity.
  • Exposure to complex supplier and partner integrations and business-critical technology workflows.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
