The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Nuclear Qualification Coordinator based in the United States.

The Nuclear Qualification Coordinator supports the safe and compliant delivery of products and services for nuclear safety and commercial applications. The role sits at the intersection of operations, sales, marketing, product management, quality, and nuclear compliance. You will assess product qualifications, vendor capabilities, nuclear facility requirements, and regulatory considerations to support informed business decisions. The position also contributes to qualification programs, supplier oversight, audits, and safety-related retrofit solutions. You will collaborate with internal teams, approved vendors, customers, and industry organizations across the nuclear sector. Success requires strong technical judgment, knowledge of nuclear quality systems, and the ability to translate complex requirements into practical guidance. This is a fully remote U.S. position, with a preference for candidates located in the Southeast and no relocation assistance.

Accountabilities

  • Review and approve nuclear sales-policy decision documentation as the designated subject matter expert, ensuring alignment with applicable corporate requirements.
  • Collaborate with international nuclear segment leaders to review nuclear facility design and site assessments and maintain accurate lists of approved nuclear facilities.
  • Deliver nuclear sales-policy training and provide guidance to internal and external sales support teams, plant personnel, and service organizations.
  • Support sales, marketing, and product management teams in qualifying branded installed-base retrofit solutions for safety-related nuclear applications.
  • Work with internal and external vendors to develop Commercial Grade Dedication plans required for safety-related retrofit solutions.
  • Maintain internal auditor proficiency and support ISO 9001 quality management system audits, NQA-1 audits, commercial-grade surveys, and related vendor assessments.
  • Support facilities subject to applicable quality requirements by performing source verifications and ISO 17025 laboratory evaluations as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor.
  • Participate in relevant nuclear industry conferences and professional forums to maintain industry knowledge, strengthen relationships, and stay informed about emerging requirements.
  • Partner with business development teams to support quotations and commercial opportunities involving nuclear power plants and facility installed bases.
  • Contribute technical and quality expertise to cross-functional initiatives while maintaining a strong focus on compliance, customer requirements, and service quality.
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience; an equivalent combination of education, experience, and demonstrated accomplishments may also be considered.
  • Electrical Engineering degree is preferred.
  • Experience in the commercial nuclear industry or a Navy nuclear environment is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of ISO quality management systems, nuclear safety requirements, and/or 10 CFR 50 Appendix B.
  • Familiarity with 10 CFR Part 21 is a plus.
  • Experience with vendor management, supplier qualification, process auditing, or quality assessments is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of nuclear qualification, commercial-grade dedication, auditing, or related compliance processes is highly valuable.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret technical, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to provide clear guidance to technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across operations, sales, marketing, product management, engineering, quality, and external vendor teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining rigorous attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems such as SAP and related internal business or technical platforms is preferred.
  • Candidates must already have U.S. work authorization that permits employment in the United States.
  • This position does not provide relocation assistance.
  • Fully remote work arrangement within the United States, with a preference for candidates in the Southeast.
  • Choice of two medical plan options, including a PPO and a high-deductible plan with a Health Savings Account.
  • Two dental plan options and vision coverage.
  • Company-paid life insurance equal to 2x base pay.
  • Company-paid AD&D insurance equal to 1x base pay.
  • Company-paid short-term disability coverage for up to 26 weeks.
  • Company-paid long-term disability coverage at 60% of pay, with an option to increase coverage to 66⅔%.
  • Voluntary life and AD&D insurance.
  • Supplemental benefits including accident, hospital indemnity, critical illness, and pet insurance.
  • Paid parental leave.
  • Employee Assistance Program and health advocacy resources supporting physical and behavioral health, health navigation, and family-building needs.
  • Employee discount program.
  • 401(k) savings plan with company contributions.
  • Employee Stock Acquisition Plan.
  • Vacation provided through a permissive time-away policy for eligible salaried exempt employees.
  • Opportunities for professional development, continuous learning, and career growth.
  • Opportunity to contribute to projects supporting nuclear safety, quality, reliability, and the modernization of critical infrastructure.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
