The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Designer based in Ireland.

This is a full-time remote opportunity for a product designer who wants to shape products from early problem definition through launch and iteration. You’ll work closely with product and engineering teams across web, mobile, widgets, and user-facing portals. The role combines product thinking, UX, visual design, prototyping, and design systems in a highly hands-on environment. You’ll contribute to products used by real customers every day, where thoughtful improvements can have a meaningful operational impact. The team values designers who are comfortable working independently, communicating asynchronously, and staying close to implementation. You’ll also have the opportunity to incorporate modern AI tools into your design workflow and explore faster paths from concept to working prototype.

Accountabilities

  • Own product design initiatives end to end, from defining problems and exploring solutions through validation, delivery, launch, and post-launch iteration.
  • Partner closely with product leaders, engineers, and designers to establish product direction and translate user needs into effective experiences.
  • Design across multiple surfaces, including desktop web applications, native iOS and Android experiences, embeddable widgets, and user portals.
  • Create and maintain high-quality Figma libraries, components, Auto Layout structures, variables, and design-system patterns.
  • Develop interactive prototypes and move beyond static mockups when a more realistic, testable artifact can accelerate learning and decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering throughout implementation, reviewing builds, identifying design drift, and balancing pixel fidelity with practical delivery needs.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing, incorporating customer feedback into product decisions and design improvements.
  • Communicate design thinking and decisions effectively through written specifications, feature presentations, recorded walkthroughs, Figma comments, and other asynchronous formats.
  • Manage priorities independently across multiple product areas while staying aligned with product leadership and evolving business needs.
  • Continuously refine mature product experiences while introducing new features without unnecessarily disrupting established user workflows.
  • 3+ years of professional product design experience, ideally within SaaS, software applications, or other product-focused environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, Auto Layout, variables, prototyping, and Dev Mode.
  • Ability to work across the full design spectrum, from early flow mapping and product exploration to polished, pixel-level interface design.
  • Strong product judgment with the ability to identify when a product concept or feature direction needs improvement before detailed design work begins.
  • Experience designing for data-dense desktop web applications as well as native mobile experiences.
  • Working knowledge of responsive design, accessibility, and established UX patterns for complex applications.
  • Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating feedback into actionable product direction.
  • Strong visual-design fundamentals, including typography, color, grids, layout, hierarchy, iconography, and illustration.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to recognize, articulate, and resolve visual inconsistencies.
  • Systems-oriented mindset with an appreciation for structured, documented, reusable design patterns.
  • Excellent written and asynchronous communication skills, with the ability to facilitate design discussions without relying heavily on meetings.
  • Self-directed and comfortable managing priorities without close supervision.
  • Adaptability to evolving design practices, AI-assisted workflows, prototyping tools, and modern product-development processes.
  • Comfortable working in a distributed environment with at least 4 hours of overlap with the core team.
  • Full-time, fully remote position.
  • Flexible working schedule with required overlap of at least 4 hours with the core team.
  • Opportunity to work across web, native mobile, widgets, and user portals.
  • Highly hands-on role with ownership across the complete product design lifecycle.
  • Collaborative environment with close interaction between design, product, and engineering.
  • Opportunity to work with modern AI and LLM-assisted design workflows.
  • Exposure to mature, real-world software products where design decisions directly affect users' daily work.
  • Opportunity to contribute to and evolve established design systems and product experiences.
  • Distributed-team environment with a strong emphasis on asynchronous collaboration and written communication.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
