This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Reports & Visualization Developer (Tableau and Looker) based in United States.

This is a senior business intelligence and data visualization role focused on building modern, scalable reporting and dashboard solutions. You will develop interactive reports while helping modernize and migrate existing Tableau solutions into Looker. A key part of the role is establishing and maintaining a universal semantic layer that enables consistent, reliable access to business data. You will combine strong BI and visualization expertise with Python and modern AI-powered development approaches. The position offers an opportunity to use tools such as Claude Code across dashboards, data pipelines, databases, visualizations, and analytical workflows. You will contribute to the modernization of reporting infrastructure while improving how data is transformed into accessible, actionable insights. This is a fully remote W2 opportunity suited to an experienced BI professional who enjoys hands-on development, modernization, and emerging AI technologies.

Accountabilities

  • Build, maintain, and enhance interactive reports and dashboards using modern business intelligence and visualization technologies.
  • Retrofit, modernize, and migrate existing reports and dashboards from Tableau to Looker while maintaining accuracy, usability, and consistency.
  • Develop and maintain a universal semantic layer to provide reliable and standardized access to business data.
  • Leverage modern AI capabilities available within reporting, visualization, and business intelligence platforms.
  • Use AI-powered development solutions such as Claude Code to accelerate and enhance dashboard development.
  • Apply Claude Code and related AI capabilities across data pipelines, databases, visualizations, charts, and reporting workflows.
  • Develop data-driven reporting solutions using Python and modern BI technologies.
  • Support the modernization and continuous improvement of existing reporting and visualization environments.
  • Collaborate on data-driven solutions that translate complex datasets into clear, useful dashboards and business insights.
  • Maintain a strong focus on data accuracy, visualization quality, usability, and scalable reporting practices.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in reporting, business intelligence, data visualization, or a closely related field.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Tableau.
  • Mandatory professional experience with Looker.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and developing reports, dashboards, and interactive data visualizations.
  • Strong Python programming skills for data-driven reporting and development workflows.
  • Hands-on experience using Claude Code, particularly in connection with data pipelines, databases, dashboards, visualizations, and charts.
  • Strong understanding of modern BI, reporting, semantic-layer, and visualization technologies.
  • Ability to modernize legacy reporting solutions and migrate dashboards between BI platforms.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization principles and dashboard development best practices.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment and managing hands-on technical deliverables.
  • Ability to combine traditional BI development skills with emerging AI-powered development approaches.
  • $40–$50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • 100% remote work within the United States.
