This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Representative (OKC) based in the United States.
This role is focused on growing sales and market share across an assigned Oklahoma City territory through strategic business development and strong customer relationships. You’ll identify opportunities, cultivate accounts, and work closely with customers and industry professionals to expand business. The position combines consultative selling, territory management, customer engagement, and field activity. You’ll monitor installations, support product specifications and approvals, prepare quotations, and track sales activity and follow-up. Success requires a proactive, organized approach and the ability to build trust while managing competing priorities independently. This is a remote position with regular travel throughout the assigned territory and opportunities to participate in industry events and trade associations.
Accountabilities:
- Drive business development activities to increase sales and market share across the assigned Oklahoma City territory.
- Allocate lead-generation efforts according to market demographics, customer opportunities, and distribution strategy.
- Develop, strengthen, and maintain relationships with customers, industry professionals, and other key stakeholders.
- Monitor field installations to ensure adherence to established procedures and support successful project execution.
- Increase product approvals and specifications by engaging customers and professionals throughout the sales process.
- Prepare customer quotations and operate within approved pricing parameters.
- Track and report sales activities, closings, follow-ups, and progress against established goals.
- Participate in trade shows, industry events, and professional association meetings to promote products and generate opportunities.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge, sales materials, and customer information portfolios.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing customer business and expand territory penetration.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
- At least 5 years of successful sales experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships across different customer and professional groups.
- Strong consultative selling and customer relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a geographic territory effectively and prioritize activities based on business opportunities.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Computer literacy and sufficient technical acumen to learn and communicate product information effectively.
- Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a focus on customer service and business growth.
- Must reside within the assigned Oklahoma City, Oklahoma territory and be available for regular travel throughout the territory.
