This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a SMB Account Executive based in the United States.
This role focuses on growing and expanding relationships with small and medium-sized business customers across a defined Texas territory. You will use consultative selling to understand customer challenges, identify opportunities, and develop solutions that deliver meaningful business value. The position combines account growth, new opportunity development, partner collaboration, sales presentations, forecasting, and territory planning. You will work closely with channel partners and end users to increase adoption and create a strong, consistent customer experience. Success will be measured through the achievement of sales quotas, pipeline development, accurate forecasting, and strategic account growth. The role offers an opportunity to build deep expertise in cybersecurity, technology trends, and the evolving needs of SMB customers. The selected candidate must reside in the Austin, Texas metropolitan area.
Accountabilities
- Grow and expand relationships with SMB and SME customers across the assigned Texas territory while consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Use consultative selling techniques to understand customer business challenges, identify opportunities, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing accounts and develop strategies to increase customer adoption.
- Collaborate with channel and partner sales teams to expand market reach, generate opportunities, and drive solution adoption.
- Deliver effective sales presentations and demonstrations across a broad portfolio of cybersecurity products and solutions.
- Develop detailed territory plans, establish clear sales goals, and maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility.
- Manage complex account and transaction reporting for account managers and sales leadership.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, technical developments, and regulations affecting target markets.
- Support go-to-market initiatives and contribute to partnership development and sales strategies.
- Educate channel partners and end users through a consultative approach while ensuring timely follow-up, opportunity tracking, and deal closure.
- Apply broad and specialized sales expertise to address customer, account, and team-level challenges.
- Contribute to team objectives through a collaborative, project-oriented approach.
- 5+ years of experience in sales, customer acquisition, account management, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to build and expand relationships with SMB or SME customers.
- Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to uncover business needs and translate them into relevant solutions.
- Experience identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities and managing sales opportunities through the full sales cycle.
- Strong presentation, communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to develop territory plans, manage pipelines, and maintain accurate sales forecasts.
- Comfortable collaborating with channel partners, internal stakeholders, and end users.
- Ability to stay informed about technology, cybersecurity, industry trends, and regulatory developments affecting customers.
- Strong commercial judgment and the ability to work independently while contributing effectively to team goals.

- Must reside in the Austin, Texas metropolitan area.
