Registered Nurse - Residential AOD Services (2 Positions) Ipswich QLD | 2 x Permanent Part-Time Opportunities $46.36 - $54.70 per hour + Super + Salary Packaging + Penalties Support Recovery. Lives Lived Well provides a range of community and residential Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) services across Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia, supporting thousands of people each year to overcome challenges and build healthier futures. We're seeking passionate Registered Nurses to join our West Moreton Residential AOD Treatment Service in Ipswich. Working across both our withdrawal and residential rehabilitation units, you'll provide clinical care and support to people at critical stages of their recovery journey. You'll be joining a dynamic, high-performing multidisciplinary team with a strong culture of collaboration, support and continuous improvement, focused on delivering safe, person-centred and recovery-oriented care. About the Role As a Registered Nurse, you will provide clinical assessments, medication management, health monitoring and nursing interventions for clients accessing residential withdrawal and rehabilitation services. Working closely with the Clinical Nurse Lead and broader multidisciplinary team, you'll support client wellbeing, contribute to treatment planning and help create a safe and therapeutic recovery environment. We currently have two permanent part-time opportunities available. Shifts Available
Wednesday: 2:00pm - 10:30pm Wednesday: 10:00pm - 6:30am (Awake Night Shift) Thursday: 2:00pm - 10:30pm Thursday: 10:00pm - 6:30am (Awake Night Shift)
Successful applicants may work a combination of these shifts, with opportunities to discuss availability and preferences during the recruitment process. Additional shifts may also become available from time to time. What You'll Be Doing
Conduct clinical assessments and health monitoring. Administer and manage medications in accordance with clinical protocols. Support clients experiencing alcohol and other drug challenges through withdrawal and rehabilitation. Respond to health concerns, risks and clinical incidents. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and client records. Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and care planning. Liaise with GPs, pharmacists and external health professionals as required. Contribute to a safe, therapeutic and recovery-oriented treatment environment. Support quality improvement and clinical governance processes.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA. Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills. Experience delivering person-centred care. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Strong clinical documentation and administration skills. Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrated cultural capability and experience working respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and people from diverse backgrounds. A current Australian Driver Licence.
Highly Regarded
Experience in Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) or Community Health services. Experience within residential, community or withdrawal management settings. Knowledge of trauma-informed and recovery-oriented practice. Experience working with people experiencing complex health and social needs.
