Job description

About Us Longbridge Café is Asia's pioneering "Investing + Lifestyle" store, redefining traditional brokerages. Through specialty coffee, community events, and financial talks, it seamlessly integrates investing into everyday life for a new generation of modern investors.

Role Summary As a Customer Experience Specialist at the Longbridge Café flagship store, you will provide warm, professional customer engagement and hands-on operational support, helping customers navigate and get comfortable with Longbridge's suite of financial products and services. Your goal is to build high-trust relationships, help customers get the most out of the platform, and drive business growth. You will act as the friendly, knowledgeable face within the café, delivering seamless onboarding support in a welcoming, lifestyle-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities Customer Onboarding & Platform Support

  1. Assist customers face-to-face with functional tasks, including registration, account opening, fund deposits, and platform navigation
  2. Engage with customers to understand their general interests and guide them toward relevant Longbridge products and features (this role does not provide investment advice or recommend specific securities)

Relationship Management & Engagement

  1. Deliver exceptional customer service, resolving inquiries related to both the in-store experience and platform usage
  2. Foster long-term client loyalty through consistent follow-ups, helping customers discover more of what Longbridge offers
  3. Create a professional yet approachable service experience that aligns with the café's unique atmosphere

Business Growth & Performance Management

  1. Achieve and exceed individual and team-based targets and KPIs (e.g. new account openings, customer engagement)
  2. Participate in regular performance reviews and contribute to strategies for service improvement

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  1. Work closely with the Café/Barista team to ensure a smooth transition for guests from "coffee drinkers" to "platform users"
  2. Collaborate with the Store Manager and operations team to drive overall store success, focusing on user growth and high satisfaction scores
  3. Support in-store marketing campaigns and events to increase brand and product visibility

Community Events & Brand Engagement

  1. Support and help host community events and in-store activations that introduce visitors to the Longbridge ecosystem
  2. Assist with general orientation content (e.g. how to use the app, platform features) — not personal finance or investment strategy guidance, which remains the responsibility of licensed staff

Requirements Experience

  1. 1–3 years of experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within financial services, retail, hospitality, or banking
  2. Proven track record in client communication and service delivery, with the ability to engage confidently with a diverse customer base
  3. Experience in cross-departmental collaboration within a fast-paced environment

Skills & Competencies

  1. Customer-Centric Mindset: Attentive to customer needs with a talent for tailoring the service experience accordingly
  2. Interpersonal Excellence: Able to build trust quickly with individuals from diverse backgrounds
  3. Cultural Fit: A passion for community engagement and the ability to thrive in a "casual-professional" environment (non-traditional banking)

Education & Certifications

  1. Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field

Other Requirements

  1. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, in accordance with store operating hours
  2. A strong team player who contributes to a harmonious and high-performing work culture

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?
