Job Description

Are You Ready to Make It Happen at Mondelēz International?

Join our Mission to Lead the Future of Snacking. Make It Uniquely Yours.

The Warehouse System Solutions Sr. Manager leads a team of six regionally assigned system specialists responsible for the end-to-end support, optimization, and strategic evolution of SAP S/4HANA and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) across the US CS&L network. This role sets the strategic technology roadmap for warehouse management systems, drives standardization across all US operations, and ensures accountability for system performance, project delivery, and continuous improvement.

The Sr. manager serves as the primary point of leadership for WMS implementations, system enhancements, and cross-functional consulting on any initiative that impacts SAP S/4 or EWM. With a team structured around regional ownership, this role ensures consistent support and performance across all facilities while elevating the capabilities of the broader network.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of six Warehouse System Solutions professionals, each assigned to a US region, ensuring consistent performance and professional growth.
  • Set clear expectations, KPIs, and accountability standards across the team.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing so that regional expertise benefits the entire network.
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and talent development planning.
  • Recognize and develop high-potential team members; create succession plans for critical roles.

Strategic Roadmap & Standardization

  • Drive standardization of system configurations, processes, and best practices across all regions and facilities.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology for operational efficiency, cost reduction, and service improvement.
  • Partner with senior leadership to align the systems roadmap with broader CS&L and business objectives.
  • Translate business strategy into executable technology and process initiatives with measurable outcomes.

WMS Implementations & Project Delivery

  • Lead all WMS implementation projects from planning through go-live and stabilization, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and on-scope delivery.
  • Oversee and support system testing activities including UAT, integration, and regression testing for new implementations and upgrades.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for implementation risks, issues, and critical decisions.
  • Coordinate resource allocation and workload management across the regional team to support concurrent projects.

Operational Support & Continuous Improvement

  • Oversee day-to-day SAP S/4 and EWM system support across the US warehouse network.
  • Lead and coordinate key operational initiatives including pick line resets, inventory root cause analyses (RCAs), system enhancements, and end-user training programs.
  • Ensure timely resolution of system issues and drive root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  • Monitor system performance metrics and proactively identify and address gaps before they impact operations.

Consulting & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert and consultant for any project or initiative that impacts SAP S/4HANA and/or EWM.
  • Partner with IT, operations, engineering, and third-party vendors to evaluate, design, and deliver system solutions.
  • Provide guidance and impact assessments for proposed changes to warehouse processes, layouts, or technology.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with site leadership and regional operations teams.

More about this role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in warehouse management systems, with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA and SAP EWM.
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience, including managing regionally distributed teams.
  • Proven track record of leading WMS implementations end-to-end from scoping through stabilization.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and distribution processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive standardization and accountability across multiple sites and regions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence at all organizational levels.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 50%–100% based on business needs and active initiatives.

Preferred

  • Experience in CPG, food & beverage, or FMCG industries.
  • SAP EWM certification or advanced SAP training credentials.
  • Experience applying change management methodologies in large-scale technology rollouts.
  • Familiarity with complementary warehouse technologies such as ring scanners, automation systems, WCS/WES platforms.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.

This role operates within a dynamic, fast-paced logistics environment requiring frequent travel to US warehouse and distribution sites. Travel expectations range from 50% to 100% depending on active implementation projects, operational initiatives, and site support needs. The Warehouse System Solutions Manager must be comfortable working in both corporate and warehouse/distribution center settings and must be prepared to flex their schedule to meet the demands of the business.

Periods of high travel intensity should be expected during WMS go-lives, pick line resets, major system changes, or significant operational disruptions requiring on-site support.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
