Als Strategy & Operations Associate bei Mercanis arbeitest du eng mit unserem Chief of Staff und dem Management-Team zusammen und bekommst einen umfassenden Einblick in den Alltag eines schnell wachsenden SaaS-Unternehmens. Du treibst strategische Projekte, operative Initiativen und unternehmensweite Prozesse voran, die maßgeblich zum Wachstum von Mercanis beitragen. In dieser Rolle lernst du direkt von erfahrenen Gründern, übernimmst von Beginn an eigenständig Verantwortung und leistest einen spürbaren Beitrag zur Weiterentwicklung von Mercanis.

Your Responsibilities on this role

  • Strategy Enabler: Treibewichtige Initiativen voran,bereite wichtige Leadership-Meetings vor undstelleeine reibungslose Umsetzung über alle Projekte hinweg sicher.
  • Project Driver: Übernimm Verantwortung für wirkungsvolle Projekte, von der Ideenfindung über die Validierung bis hin zur Umsetzung, und treibe so aktiv das Wachstum des Unternehmens voran.
  • Process Owner: Verantworte Teile des Tagesgeschäfts, optimiere interne Prozesse und stelle sicher, dass Geschäftsabläufe effizient und termingerecht erfolgen.
  • Team Connector: Arbeite mit verschiedenen Teams zusammen, bringe dich aktiv in wichtige Entscheidungen ein und präge die operativen Abläufe eines schnell wachsenden B2B-SaaS-Start-ups mit.
  • Insights Scout: Führe gezielte Recherchen zu Märkten, Wettbewerbern und neuen Trends durch, um strategische Prioritäten zu untermauern.

Role requirements

  • Berufserfahrung: Du bringst mindestens 2 Jahre Erfahrung im Investment Banking, in der Unternehmensberatung, in der Wirtschaftsprüfung oder in ähnlich anspruchsvollen Umfeldern mit.
  • Akademischer Hintergrund: Du hast einen Bachelor- oder Masterabschluss an einer führenden Universität in Business, Economics, Finance oder einem verwandten Bereich erworben.
  • Analytische Kompetenz: Du bringst sehr starke analytische Fähigkeiten und Financial-Modeling-Skills mit, insbesondere in Excel und PowerPoint.
  • Tech-Affinität: Du hast eine ausgeprägte Affinität zu AI und digitaler Innovation, idealerweise mit Erfahrung in datengetriebenen Geschäftsmodellen oder SaaS.
  • Lösungsorientierung: Du verstehst und analysierst komplexe Sachverhalte schnell, entwickelst pragmatische Lösungen und setzt diese präzise und eigenverantwortlich um.
  • Belastbarkeit: Du fühlst dich in dynamischen, unklaren Situationen wohl und gehst proaktiv Herausforderungen an.
  • Kommunikationsstärke: Du besitzt starke Kommunikations- und zwischenmenschliche Fähigkeiten, die es dir ermöglichen, effektiv mit Senior Stakeholdern zusammenzuarbeiten.
  • Sprachkenntnisse: Du sprichst fließend Englisch und Deutsch — das ist ein Muss.
