Nature's Herbs & Wellness is hiring a full-time Cannabis Trimmer at our Garden City cultivation facility.

If you're someone who enjoys hands-on work, has an eye for detail, and takes pride in producing a clean, consistent finished product, this could be a great fit.

You'll help prepare harvested cannabis flower for the next stage of production, carefully trimming and handling plants to preserve their appearance and quality.

No previous cannabis trimming experience is required. We'll train dependable applicants who have good hand coordination, patience, and a willingness to learn.

What You'll Do

  • Hand-trim harvested cannabis flower to established quality standards
  • Remove excess leaves while protecting the structure and appearance of flower
  • Sort, inspect, and handle harvested material carefully
  • Identify and report quality concerns or unusual plant material
  • Assist with harvest preparation, post-harvest handling, and related production tasks
  • Keep trimming stations, tools, and equipment clean and organized
  • Follow sanitation, product-handling, and inventory procedures
  • Maintain accurate production records and work toward established quality and productivity expectations

What the Job Is Actually Like

Cannabis trimming is detailed, repetitive work that rewards patience, consistency, and good hand coordination.

You'll spend much of your shift seated or standing at a workstation, working with your hands and carefully processing harvested flower.

It's not complicated work to learn, but doing it well requires practice. Speed matters, but not at the expense of quality.

The best trimmers develop a steady rhythm, maintain their attention to detail throughout the day, and take pride in the finished product.

This is a production job, not a position where you'll spend the day sampling cannabis or discussing strains. You'll be part of a team preparing real products for our retail and manufacturing operations.

If you like structured work, clear expectations, and being able to see the results of your effort at the end of the day, you may enjoy this position.

Schedule & Compensation

Monday–Friday | 7:30am–4:00pm Approximately 40 working hours per week Starting Pay: $15.16 per hour

This is a full-time, on-site position with a consistent weekday schedule. Occasional overtime or schedule adjustments may be necessary based on harvests and production needs.

What We're Looking For

Previous cannabis trimming, agricultural processing, food production, packaging, assembly, or other detail-oriented production experience is helpful, but not required.

We're looking for people who:

  • Are reliable, punctual, and comfortable with repetitive work
  • Have good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  • Can work efficiently while maintaining consistent quality
  • Follow instructions and established production procedures
  • Stay focused and productive throughout their shift
  • Work well with others and respond positively to feedback
  • Take care when handling products and equipment

The position requires repetitive hand and wrist movements, extended periods of sitting or standing, and the ability to perform detailed manual tasks throughout the workday.

Essential responsibilities must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

Colorado Cannabis Requirements

Applicants must be at least 21 years old and hold an active Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) Employee License before beginning regulated cannabis work.

An active MED license is preferred but not required when applying. Eligible applicants willing to obtain one before beginning regulated work are welcome.

Employees are responsible for obtaining, maintaining, and paying for their required MED license.

Our operations include dispensaries, cultivation facilities, extraction, manufacturing, and distribution throughout Northern and Northeastern Colorado.

Our Garden City cultivation operation helps supply the flower used across our retail and manufacturing businesses. The care taken during trimming directly affects the quality and appearance of the finished products our customers purchase.
