Location

Bloomsdale, MO | Full-Time | On-Site

Join our team in Bloomsdale, Missouri! This is an on-site opportunity with occasional visits to local project sites, giving you the chance to stay connected to both our office and field operations.

Note

We are looking for someone with 3+ years of hands-on civil site construction experience, particularly in earthwork, grading, or underground utilities. You should also have proven civil construction estimating and bidding experience, plus 1+ years of project management experience overseeing projects from award through completion.

Job Description

As our Civil Construction Estimator / Project Manager, you'll play a key role in winning new projects and making them successful. You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Prepare competitive estimates, quantity takeoffs, bids, and proposals for earthwork, grading, underground utilities, and site development projects.
  • Review construction plans, specifications, labor costs, equipment requirements, and materials to develop accurate project budgets.
  • Manage civil construction projects from contract award through scheduling, execution, and closeout.
  • Collaborate with superintendents, field crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep projects running smoothly.
  • Monitor project costs, schedules, change orders, and profitability.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and help identify exciting new business opportunities.
  • Ensure projects meet our high standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on civil site construction experience, including earthwork, grading, or underground utilities.
  • Experience preparing civil construction estimates, bids, and quantity takeoffs.
  • 1+ years of civil construction project management experience.
  • Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, and project plans.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with construction estimating or project management software.
  • Experience with HeavyBid, HeavyJob, or Microsoft Project is a plus.
  • A degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is helpful but not required.
