Location: Seattle, WA or Tacoma, WA | Hybrid. Enjoy the flexibility of working remotely while spending 2 to 3 days per week in your preferred office.

Note: Candidates must be actively licensed to practice law in Washington and have 3+ years of litigation experience in at least one of the following areas: insurance defense, health law, or civil litigation. Experience in all three areas is not required.

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Litigation Attorney to join our growing legal team. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage and contribute to a diverse caseload involving civil litigation, professional liability, and healthcare-related disputes.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research, take and defend depositions, and develop effective litigation strategies.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, hearings, mediations, and court proceedings.
  • Collaborate with experienced attorneys and legal professionals on complex matters.
  • Build strong client relationships while taking ownership of meaningful legal work.

Qualifications

  • Active membership in the Washington State Bar.
  • 3+ years of litigation experience in insurance defense, health law, or civil litigation.
  • Strong legal research, writing, case management, and advocacy skills.
  • Experience handling discovery, depositions, and motions.
  • Medical malpractice defense, healthcare liability, and professional liability experience are preferred, not required.
  • Willingness to work a hybrid schedule in Seattle or Tacoma.
