Join PMC’s Healthcare Valet Team Parking Management Company (PMC) is hiring dependable Hospital Valet Attendants to help patients, visitors, and staff feel welcome when they arrive at the facility. You will safely park and retrieve vehicles, assist people at the entrance, and help keep traffic moving. This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys helping others, stays calm during busy periods, and understands that patients and visitors may be facing stressful situations. What You’ll Do
Greet patients, visitors, and staff with courtesy, patience, and professionalism. Safely park and retrieve vehicles while following traffic and facility procedures. Assist with vehicle entry and exit and offer directions to the appropriate entrance or department. Request assistance from facility staff when a patient or visitor needs help beyond the valet role. Inspect vehicles and document existing damage according to company procedures. Secure keys, protect personal property, and respect patient and visitor privacy. Keep the valet area clean, accessible, and organized. Respond promptly to questions and help manage vehicle traffic during busy periods. Follow safety, uniform, attendance, and tip-reporting procedures. Support team members and communicate service or safety concerns to a supervisor.
What We’re Looking For
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. No more than three moving violations within the past three years. Ability to pass required background and motor vehicle record checks. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Dependable attendance and a professional appearance. Ability to remain patient and composed in a busy healthcare setting. Availability for assigned nights, weekends, or holidays. Ability to operate automatic and manual-transmission vehicles when required by the assignment.
Previous valet, healthcare, hospitality, or customer-service experience is preferred but not required. Physical Requirements The essential functions of this position may require standing and walking for extended periods; running or moving quickly when appropriate and safe; frequently entering and exiting vehicles; bending, reaching, and using stairs; lifting or moving items weighing up to 50 pounds; and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Wage-and-Hour Compliance This is a non-exempt position. PMC complies with applicable minimum-wage, overtime, meal-period, rest-period, and recordkeeping requirements. Employees will receive overtime and other required compensation in accordance with state and federal law. PMC also maintains workers’ compensation coverage as required by law.
