What We Are Looking For We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for ensuring accuracy in financial processes.

Job Summary The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for managing customer accounts, processing incoming payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role plays a key part in ensuring the company’s cash flow remains efficient and well-organized.

Responsibilities

  • Process and post customer payments accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and send customer invoices, account statements, and payment reminders.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor overdue accounts and follow up with customers to resolve outstanding balances.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or customer inquiries.
  • Assisted with month-end closing activities and generated relevant financial reports.
  • Maintain organized records of transactions and supporting documentation.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to improve invoicing and collection processes.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality. Knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.
