Job description

Are you an experienced Project Manager motivated by making a tangible difference?

Pharmacosmos is looking for a Project Manager to lead complex, strategic projects across our value chain and deliver lasting impact across the organisation. You bring strong project leadership and analytical skills and are adept at engaging stakeholders at all organisational levels.

If this sounds like you, we would like to hear from you.

Your role As Project Manager, you will join our small project management team and lead two to five strategic projects in parallel. The projects vary in scale, complexity and nature and support areas such as the CEO Office, Clinical R&D, Legal, Supply Chain, Finance and HR. They may, for example, include digitalisation initiatives and IT system implementations.

You may become involved from the initial assessment of needs and requirements through business-case development, solution evaluation, implementation and final reporting. Where external vendors are involved, you will lead the request-for-proposal process and support vendor evaluation and selection.

This is a hands-on role. In addition to managing and coordinating projects, you will actively contribute to project execution. You will establish the appropriate project organisation and governance, clarify roles and responsibilities, engage stakeholders and ensure effective reporting on progress, milestones and financials.

Your ability to combine project management expertise with strong business acumen will be key to your success. Through a professional and respectful approach, you will build trust and create the right conditions for the project team and stakeholders to succeed.

You will be part of the Data & Projects department and report directly to the Director of the department.

Your key responsibilities

  • Lead strategic projects from initial assessment through implementation and close-out
  • Develop and refine business cases, requirements and solution evaluations
  • Lead vendor selection processes, including requests for proposals and comparison of responses
  • Establish appropriate project governance, project teams and steering committees
  • Manage project plans, progress, milestones, risks and financials
  • Engage stakeholders and communicate project status to senior management and the wider organisation
  • Contribute actively to project execution and implementation

Your qualifications We expect that you have:

  • A relevant master’s degree in economics, business administration, engineering, science, medicine or a related field
  • At least three years of experience in strategy consulting, project management or a comparable role
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen, with the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to engage stakeholders and drive change
  • Experience with project management tools and advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel
  • An open-minded, curious and pragmatic approach, combined with a strong sense of accountability
  • Fluency in written and spoken Danish and English

A recognised project management certification, such as PRINCE2, is an advantage.

Additional information Your primary place of work will be Pharmacosmos’ headquarters in Holbæk. We offer flexible opportunities to work from home by agreement with your manager. Limited travel of approximately 5–10 days per year may be required.

This is a fixed-term maternity cover position starting in early/mid-November 2026 and lasting approximately 10–11 months.

Contact and application Submit your resume and cover letter via the "Apply" button. We review applications and conduct interviews on an ongoing basis, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible. If you have any questions about the position, please contact Director of Data & Projects Simon Guldberg at [email protected]. You are welcome to submit your application in either Danish or English.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
