Location: Bangalore

Employment: Full time

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner – B2B Commerce to manage product backlog, prioritize business requirements, and drive Agile delivery for B2B e-commerce platforms and sales tools. The role involves collaborating with global stakeholders, engineering, UX, and QA teams to deliver scalable, user-friendly solutions for wholesale customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Backlog Ownership: Own and maintain a single, prioritized product backlog for B2B Commerce and supporting sales tools. Author well-structured epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria, success metrics, and testable outcomes. Manage the allocation mix across feature work, tech debt, and platform optimization.
  • Delivery & Quality: Play a key role throughout the development lifecycle, including sprint planning, refinement, review, and acceptance. Write acceptance criteria, execute acceptance tests, and collaborate with QA to embed a shift-left quality mindset. Partner with UX designers and front-end engineers to deliver user-friendly experiences for wholesale buyers and sales reps.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Serve as the primary product liaison between the GCC engineering squad and Portland-based business stakeholders in Sales Operations, Account Operations, and Sales Management. Synthesize competing input from multiple regions (US, Canada, Europe, IDR) and brands into a coherent backlog. Maintain a regular cadence of async updates, decision logs, and roadmap reviews that keep distributed partners aligned.
  • Roadmap Execution: Execute the product vision and roadmap for B2B Commerce. Track, analyze, and surface end-user feedback from wholesale users to refine priorities. Anticipate dependencies across SAP, Salesforce, and enterprise data integrations, and sequence work accordingly.
  • Integration Fluency: Understand how B2B Commerce solutions route orders through ERP platforms and how CRM platforms support the prospect-to-order lifecycle, rep assignments, case management, and customer agreements. Collaborate with integration teams to scope work realistically and flag infeasible requests early.
  • Documentation & Async Communication: Produce self-contained epics, sprint summaries, decision logs, and stakeholder-facing artifacts that distributed teammates in Portland (13.5 hours behind Bengaluru) can act on independently. Maintain Confluence pages, Jira hygiene, and status updates that reduce the need for synchronous handoffs.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5–8 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in a Digital Product Owner or equivalent role
  • Previous experience owning a product backlog, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, and managing refinement and sprint planning ina Scrum/Agile environment
  • B2B ecommerce or order management domain experience (wholesale, distribution, or supply chain preferred)
  • Familiarity with ERP integrations (SAP preferred) and/or CRM platforms (Salesforce Sales Cloud preferred) in a B2B context
  • General knowledge of Agile development methodologies, quarterly planning, and Definition of Ready/Done practices
  • Demonstrated experience working with distributed or global teams, with concrete examples of async communication practices (decision logs, self-contained documentation, status updates)
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence (or equivalent backlog and documentation tools)
  • Scrum Master or Product Owner certification is a plus
  • Experience in retail, apparel, or consumer goods industry is a plus

YOU ARE

  • A problem-solver with critical thinking skills who can navigate complex B2B order workflows spanning multiple systems
  • An excellent async communicator, both written and verbal, who produces clear, self-contained documentation that a distributed team can act on without a follow-up call
  • Highly organized with solid time management skills and the ability to manage a backlog across multiple brands, regions, and stakeholder groups simultaneously
  • Curious about the business domain, eager to understand wholesale sales cycles, assortment planning, and how technology enables the buyer-to-order journey
  • Collaborative across cultures and time zones, comfortable working in a globally distributed team model with shared ownership between Bengaluru and Portland

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
