Job Summary

The Product Owner will be responsible for driving the end-to-end delivery of digital storefront initiatives by defining product requirements, managing and prioritizing the squad backlog, and validating delivery outcomes. This role involves translating business needs into clear, actionable, and testable requirements while ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical implementation.

The Product Owner will collaborate closely with Engineering, UX/UI Design, QA, and business stakeholders to ensure effective planning, execution, and delivery of digital commerce experiences. Strong e-commerce domain knowledge is essential to guide product decisions across composable storefront solutions built using React, Salesforce PWA Kit, Amplience CMS, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).

The role operates within a single squad responsible for the end-to-end delivery of digital storefront experiences for emerging brands and regional markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Backlog Management: Own, maintain, and prioritize the squad backlog based on business value, technical dependencies, customer needs, and delivery objectives. Ensure backlog items are clearly defined, refined, and ready for sprint execution.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria. Ensure requirements are actionable, testable, and aligned with business goals.
  • Agile Delivery: Actively participate in and facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to support effective execution and continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Design, QA, and business stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle to clarify requirements, resolve ambiguities, and ensure alignment between business expectations and technical implementation.
  • E-commerce Experience: Define user journeys, workflows, and functional requirements for digital storefront features. Apply e-commerce domain knowledge across key customer journeys, including product discovery, product detail pages (PDP), shopping cart, checkout, and order lifecycle.
  • Delivery Validation: Validate completed features against business requirements and acceptance criteria. Participate in sprint demonstrations, user acceptance testing (UAT), and release readiness activities to ensure quality and completeness.
  • Risk & Dependency Management: Identify requirement gaps, technical dependencies, delivery risks, and potential blockers. Collaborate with relevant teams to address issues and maintain delivery momentum.
  • Documentation & Process Improvement: Create and maintain documentation for features, workflows, and business rules. Establish consistent practices for user story writing, backlog management, and requirement traceability.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate delivery status, priorities, risks, and decisions effectively. Simplify complex business or technical information for stakeholders and team members while fostering constructive collaboration.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve requirement clarity, Agile delivery processes, team collaboration, and overall delivery effectiveness.

  • Typically requires 6+ years of professional experience
  • Experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
