The posting

Onze klant is een sterk groeiende bouwgroep, actief in Europa en realiseert grootschalige projecten van ontwerp tot oplevering. Door de sterke groei wil de groep haar finance-afdeling in de regio Limburg verder professionaliseren. Daarom is ze op zoek naar haar eerste Financial & Business Controller: een nieuwe functie die je zelf mee vormgeeft.

De functie

Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de financieel directeur en werkt nauw samen met de boekhouding, de directie en de operationele teams. Je rol ligt bij analyse, controlling en business partnering, niet bij de operationele boekhouding.

  • Je bouwt de controllingfunctie binnen de verschillende entiteiten van de groep op.
  • Je maakt maandelijkse, driemaandelijkse en jaarlijkse rapporteringen en ondersteunt de afsluitingen samen met de boekhouding en de externe accountants.
  • Je volgt budgetten, forecasts, cashflow, werkkapitaal en KPI's op, en voert variantieanalyses uit.
  • Je volgt de bouwprojecten financieel op: van budget en forecast tot nacalculatie, resultaat en rendabiliteit.
  • Je analyseert kostenstructuren en marges en adviseert het management bij strategische en operationele beslissingen.
  • Je ontwikkelt dashboards in Power BI en neemt initiatief om processen en rapportering te automatiseren, onder meer met behulp van AI.
  • Je werkt mee aan strategische projecten die de groei van de groep ondersteunen.

Jouw profiel

  • Je hebt een masterdiploma in een economische of financiële richting.
  • Je hebt zo'n vier tot vijf jaar relevante ervaring, met minstens een deel in controlling of een andere businessgerichte financiële rol. Ervaring in audit of consultancy is een troef, maar je hebt ook al de stap naar de business gezet.
  • Je legt makkelijk de link tussen de cijfers en de operationele realiteit, en kunt complexe informatie helder uitleggen aan niet-financiële collega's.
  • Je bent sterk in Excel en Power BI, en hebt affiniteit met IT, data en automatisering.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van boekhouding, maar je ambitie ligt in controlling.
  • Je werkt zelfstandig, neemt ownership en blijft rustig in een dynamische omgeving in volle groei.
  • Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands. Andere talen, vooral Frans, zijn een plus.
  • Ervaring in de bouw- of een andere projectgedreven sector is mooi meegenomen, maar geen vereiste.
