B2B commerce is evolving fast and Sana Commerce is built to lead it. We help manufacturers, distributors, and wholesalers create seamless digital buying experiences that strengthen customer relationships and drive real business growth.

We're on a mission to become the go-to commerce platform for B2B companies navigating complexity at scale. That means constantly pushing the boundaries of what's possible in ERP-integrated commerce and building a team bold enough to get us there.

At Sana Commerce, we're looking for a Junior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our global infrastructure team and help keep our platform running smoothly, reliably, and securely.

You'll play an important role in monitoring our systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing first-line support to our customers. Working closely with experienced engineers across our global team, you'll gain hands-on exposure to cloud infrastructure, monitoring tools, and incident management while helping ensure a seamless experience for our customers.

Why This Role Matters

Our customers rely on Sana Commerce to run their businesses every day. As a Junior SRE, you'll be on the front line of keeping our platform healthy, responding to incidents, resolving technical challenges, and ensuring issues are addressed before they impact our customers.

What you’ll get:

  • The opportunity to make an impact at a fast-growing SaaS scale-up;
  • A global and customized onboarding program (9,1/10 rated by previous hires);
  • Working closely with global leaders on strategic initiatives;
  • A hybrid working model - 3 days from the office, 2 days from home;

Job Description

What you'll be doing:

Platform monitoring & incident response

• Monitor the health and performance of our platform using tools such as Dynatrace, identifying and responding to alerts and potential issues.

• Provide first-line technical support by investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving customer issues received through support tickets and calls.

• Respond to infrastructure and application incidents, including traffic spikes, bot activity, and high resource consumption.

• Collaborate with senior engineers, vendors, and other IT teams to troubleshoot complex issues and ensure timely resolution.

Cloud infrastructure & system support

• Support and troubleshoot our cloud infrastructure, including Microsoft Azure, Windows Servers, Azure SQL, and Kubernetes (AKS).

• Help maintain the stability, availability, and performance of our systems and applications.

• Work with Fastly (WAF/CDN) to investigate and mitigate abnormal traffic and bot activity.

• Monitor, renew, and troubleshoot SSL certificates to maintain secure platform operations.

Automation & continuous improvement

• Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks, improve operational efficiency, and reduce manual intervention.

• Contribute to technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge sharing initiatives.

• Support infrastructure projects, including cloud migrations, Azure optimizations, and system maintenance.

• Collaborate with the team to improve monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response processes.

Global collaboration & on-call support

• Work closely with our international infrastructure team to ensure smooth operations across different time zones.

• Participate in scheduled shifts and paid weekend on-call rotations to support platform availability and timely incident response.

• Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders, providing clear updates on incidents and their resolution.

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant practical experience.

• Ideally 2–3 years of hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and related services.

• Familiarity with Microsoft technologies such as Windows Server, DNS, IIS, MSSQL, or Azure SQL.

• A basic understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).

• Exposure to monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Zabbix, or similar.

• Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell or shell scripting.

• A strong troubleshooting mindset, with the ability to investigate technical issues, think logically, and remain calm under pressure.

• Good communication skills, a collaborative attitude, and a willingness to learn and develop your technical expertise.

• Flexibility to work in scheduled shifts and participate in an on-call rotation.

• Microsoft Azure certifications, such as AZ-900 or AZ-104, are considered a plus.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
