Our client is seeking a dynamic, commercially minded, and results-driven Operations Lead to lead the day-to-day operations and overall performance of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating business strategy into execution, driving revenue growth, improving operational performance, strengthening accountability, rebuilding team morale, and ensuring the organization consistently achieves its financial and operational objectives. This is a strategic leadership role requiring strong commercial acumen, operational excellence, people leadership, and a proven ability to drive sustainable business growth. Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and drive execution of the company's strategic and operational plans to achieve business objectives and long-term growth. Translate organizational goals into measurable departmental objectives, action plans, and performance indicators across all business functions. Monitor business performance against monthly, quarterly, and annual targets, taking corrective action where necessary to ensure achievement of organizational goals. Drive a high-performance culture by strengthening accountability, improving operational discipline, and promoting continuous improvement across the business. Identify new business opportunities, operational efficiencies, and strategic initiatives that enhance profitability and support sustainable growth. Drive the achievement of recruitment, HR advisory, consulting, and other service revenue targets while supporting overall commercial performance. Support business development initiatives by strengthening key client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to client acquisition strategies. Monitor sales pipelines, business development activities, and conversion rates to maximize revenue generation and client retention. Oversee the delivery of recruitment, HR advisory, and consulting services to ensure high-quality service standards, timely project execution, and client satisfaction. Monitor recruiter productivity, placement performance, project delivery timelines, and overall service effectiveness across all operational teams. Lead, coach, mentor, and develop department heads and employees to build a highly engaged, motivated, and results-oriented workforce. Conduct regular performance reviews, establish clear KPIs, provide constructive feedback, and implement performance improvement initiatives where required. Promote a positive organizational culture by improving employee engagement, recognizing high performance, and fostering collaboration across teams. Partner with the Finance Manager to develop budgets, monitor financial performance, manage operating costs, improve profitability, and support effective cash flow management. Lead operational improvement initiatives by implementing systems, processes, controls, and best practices that enhance efficiency and business performance. Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational and financial performance reports to senior leadership. Monitor key business performance indicators across all departments and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company governance requirements. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align business operations with organizational strategy and ensure successful execution of company initiatives. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Commerce, Management, or a related field. MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage. Minimum of 8 years of progressive leadership experience in business operations, general management, or a similar senior leadership role. Proven experience within recruitment, HR consultancy, staffing, outsourcing, consulting, or other professional services environments. Demonstrated success in driving business growth, improving operational performance, and leading organizational transformation initiatives. Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing budgets, profitability, and business performance. Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams and driving high-performance cultures. Strong business development experience with the ability to support revenue growth, client acquisition, and client retention strategies. Excellent strategic planning, problem-solving, decision-making, and change management capabilities. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret business performance data and implement effective operational improvements. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. High levels of integrity, accountability, professionalism, and sound business judgment. Experience working within a growing SME, consultancy, or service-based organization will be an added advantage.
