Job Summary Our client, who is in the engineering and technical services industry, is seeking a Service Planning Officer to join their team. The Service Planning Officer will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and monitoring service schedules to ensure efficient and timely delivery of services to clients. This includes preparing service quotations and invoices, liaising with technicians, compiling reports, following up on service completion, and conducting routine quality checks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, a strong communicator, and able to balance multiple priorities while ensuring high-quality service standards. Responsibilities: Develop and manage service plans/schedules (monthly, quarterly, annually) for clients. Send out proforma invoices for scheduled services and prepare quotations for service and supply. Compile and maintain service reports, confirming works completed for both service and supply. Coordinate technicians, resources, and activities to ensure timely and efficient service execution. Monitor service schedules, updating clients and tracking progress. Conduct follow-ups and reminders to ensure service delivery aligns with agreed timelines. Perform routine quality checks on serviced equipment before dispatch and at client sites. Receive and dispatch equipment, ensuring all service documentation is processed to completion. Balance service demand with capacity to optimize resource allocation. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. Proven experience in service planning, coordination, or a similar role in a technical/engineering environment. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple schedules simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and technician coordination. Proficiency in MS Office and scheduling/project management tools. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and in a team environment. Experience in technical services, maintenance, or equipment servicing is an added advantage.
