Job Summary: Our client, a well-established construction company, is seeking an experienced Store Keeper to manage site inventory and materials effectively. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the receipt, storage, issuance, and tracking of construction materials, ensuring accurate records and minimal wastage. The Store Keeper will also support the site team by maintaining well organized inventory systems and timely updates to consumption records. Responsibilities: Record daily material receipts and consumption at the construction site. Verify stock levels regularly and ensure alignment with recorded data. Receive incoming materials, check for quality and quantity, and update stock registers. Issue materials to site personnel as per authorized indents. Monitor and supervise material usage to prevent wastage or misuse. Retrieve and account for any unused materials at the end of each workday. Maintain updated records on display boards and slates reflecting current stock. Prepare fortnightly/monthly material consumption reports in collaboration with supervisors. Identify and record excess or surplus materials. Conduct periodic stock updates and inventory checks. Coordinate with material suppliers (with consent from the purchase department) to ensure timely delivery. Maintain accurate records of tools, equipment, and machinery on-site. Keep records of utility bills such as electricity and water. Ensure the storeroom is clean, organized, and in proper order always Requirements Graduation in any stream. Minimum 5 years of experience in building construction (mandatory) Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy under pressure. Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using registers or inventory tracking systems
