What We Do
SteadyState™ Work Partners is a human capital consulting firm specializing in human capital risk mitigation.
We work with organizations when a valuable person's Heat-of-the-Moment actions or inaction are creating business consequences—and knowing better hasn't been enough to stop it.
Our proprietary TAU Core™ intervention develops the I Caught Myself Reflex™: the ability to interrupt an automatic reaction before it becomes consequential action or inaction.
TAU Core™ includes an in-person component delivered in Austin, Texas.
What Counts as a Referral
A referral is more than the name of a company. You know the person and make the introduction.
For example:
Not a referral: “You should call ABC Company. They need this.”
A referral: “I know the HR leader at ABC Company. I've told her about SteadyState and that the service includes participation in Austin. She's interested in talking with you. I'll introduce you.”
You don't have to sell the service or determine whether it's right for them. You make the qualified introduction. SteadyState owns the sales process from there.
We determine whether there is a business opportunity, lead the conversations, answer questions, develop the engagement, and close the business.
Your responsibility is the introduction.
Who You Might Know
You may know an organization dealing with:
- A valuable employee they don't want to lose
- A manager whose actions or inaction keep creating problems
- Recurring conflict, complaints, or performance incidents
- Customer or business consequences tied to employee behavior
- Someone the organization has already invested substantially in developing
- A problem that training, coaching, or other interventions haven't resolved
The organization does not have to be headquartered in Texas.
It does need to be willing to send its participant(s) to Austin, Texas, for the in-person portion of TAU Core™.
You don't need to diagnose the problem or determine whether SteadyState is the answer. If you recognize the situation, know the right person, and they're interested in the conversation, introduce us.
Compensation
5% of collected revenue on eligible new business resulting from your qualifying referral.
For example: One $25,000 engagement = $1,250 referral commission.
There is no minimum number of referrals required. Make one introduction or make several.
If an eligible referral becomes a paying SteadyState client and SteadyState collects the revenue, you get paid. If the referral does not result in collected revenue, no commission is earned.
What You Don't Have to Do
You are not responsible for:
- Prospecting or cold calling
- Managing a sales pipeline
- Conducting sales meetings
- Preparing proposals
- Negotiating the engagement
- Closing the sale
- Meeting sales quotas
Your job is to open a door that you can genuinely open. SteadyState handles what happens after that.
Where You Will Work
You can be located anywhere in the United States.
There is no set schedule and no required volume of referrals.
Your connections may be in Texas or elsewhere. What matters is that the organization understands that SteadyState's in-person work is currently delivered in Austin and is willing to send participants there if it decides to engage us.
This opportunity can exist alongside your current career, consulting work, business, retirement, or other professional activities, subject to any obligations or conflict-of-interest requirements that apply to you.
