What We Do

SteadyState™ Work Partners is a human capital consulting firm specializing in human capital risk mitigation.

We work with organizations when a valuable person's Heat-of-the-Moment actions or inaction are creating business consequences—and knowing better hasn't been enough to stop it.

Our proprietary TAU Core™ intervention develops the I Caught Myself Reflex™: the ability to interrupt an automatic reaction before it becomes consequential action or inaction.

The Opportunity

Think about the executives and organizations you already know. Some of them have:

  • A capable executive who becomes combative when challenged.
  • A strong manager who withdraws or avoids when tension rises.
  • A valuable employee who automatically agrees, takes on too much, and burns out.
  • An otherwise great leader who stalls or goes silent when the stakes suddenly rise.

These aren't necessarily bad employees or "toxic" managers. Sometimes they're good people whose Heat-of-the-Moment response keeps interfering with the performance they're capable of delivering.

Choose Your Engagement Level

We currently offer two Expert pathways. You choose the level of involvement for each opportunity. There are:

  • No prospecting quotas
  • No building a prospect list from scratch
  • No cold-calling strangers
  • No required number of accounts
  • No monthly activity targets
  • No expectation that you carry SteadyState's entire sales pipeline
  • No traditional full-time sales schedule
  • No base salary, guaranteed draw, or commission cap.

Expert Partner — 15% of Collected Revenue

You bring the opportunity and own the relationship from connection through close. You open the conversation, understand the business problem, determine whether SteadyState belongs there, lead the commercial relationship, bring in SteadyState subject-matter expertise when needed, move the opportunity through the purchasing decision, and close the engagement.

At current launch pricing:

  • 1 corporate engagement = $3,750 commission
  • 3 corporate engagements = $11,250 commission
  • 4 corporate engagements = $15,000 commission
  • 10 corporate engagements = $37,500 commission

Expert Connector — 5% of Collected Revenue

You've spoken with the decision-maker about their need and what SteadyState offers. They want to have the conversation, and you make the introduction. SteadyState takes it from there.

What You Bring

This works because of what you've already built:

  • Trusted executive and business relationships
  • Credibility with organizational decision-makers
  • Years of business experience
  • Firsthand understanding of the problems organizations have with people they value
  • The ability to have consequential business conversations
  • The commercial judgment to recognize an opportunity

This is not for someone looking to learn how to sell. It is for someone who already knows how business gets done.

Where You Will Work

  • Remote within Texas
  • Flexible and independent
  • Occasional Austin/Central Texas meetings when a specific opportunity requires them
  • Designed to work alongside an existing career, consulting practice, selective work schedule, or transition from full-time executive work

Where This Can Go

SteadyState is entering commercial launch.

Some Executive Connections Partners may want to bring in an occasional engagement. Others may discover they want to build a substantial book of SteadyState business.

Either works.

For someone who develops significant business and wants a larger role, there may also be opportunities to grow with SteadyState as the company's commercial organization expands.
