Job Description

En Syngenta, nuestro objetivo es construir el equipo más colaborativo y confiable en agricultura, proporcionando semillas de alta calidad y soluciones innovadoras de protección de cultivos que mejoren el éxito de los agricultores. Para apoyar esta misión, el equipo de Global Phytopathology Flowers de Syngenta está buscando un Laboratory Technician en Amatitlan, Guatemala. Este rol apoyará en asistir directamente al Coordinador de Laboratorio de Fitopatología, gestionando todos los recursos y actividades relacionadas a los servicios que presta el Laboratorio de Fitopatología, asegurando la confiablidad, certeza de las muestras y tiempo de entrega.

Responsabilidades

  • Asegurar el cumplimiento de los protocolos de cada una de las pruebas (tests) o diagnósticos realizados, utilizando los procedimientos, manuales y guías de reliance.
  • Supervisar la ejecución de las actividades diarias del laboratorio llevadas a cabo por Operadores (as) de Laboratorio, en base a la planificación y a las solicitudes de los usuarios.
  • Garantizar el procesamiento de muestras Elisa, suelos, agua, superficies, ambientes, polen, semilla, diagnósticos y asegurar la entrega de sus resultados en tiempo.
  • Generar reportes respecto a la productividad del área, tiempos, desempeño, muestras mensuales, resultados e incidencias.
  • Gestionar los recursos necesarios, tales como, insumos consumibles, reactivos, entre otros que aseguren la entrega tanto en tiempo como en calidad y forma.
  • Dar seguimiento al Ordenes de Trabajo y/o Plan de Mantenimiento de equipos y sistemas utilizados en el área para garantizar el funcionamiento optimo.
  • Garantizar que el personal a su cargo utilice de una forma correcta el equipo de protección personal.

Qualifications

Es indispensable para esta posición:

  • Técnico en Laboratorio (Mínimo)
  • Nivel de Inglés Conversacional.
  • Experiencia en Laboratorio, supervisando y manejando personal

Deseable:

  • Licenciatura en Microbiología, Bioquímico, Biólogo, Ingeniero Agrónomo con especialidad en Microbiología. (Deseable)
