Descripción del empleo

En Syngenta, nuestro objetivo es construir el equipo más colaborativo y confiable en agricultura, proporcionando semillas de alta calidad y soluciones innovadoras de protección de cultivos que mejoren el éxito de los agricultores. Para apoyar esta misión, el equipo de Operation SD Latam de Syngenta está buscando un Técnico de investigación en Jesus Maria, Cordoba.

Responsabilidades

  • Planificar, coordinar y gestionar las operaciones agronómicas del sitio, asegurando la ejecución oportuna de la preparación de lotes, siembra, fertilización, aplicaciones fitosanitarias, cosecha, ensayos y producción de grano. Gestionar además la disponibilidad, el uso eficiente y el control de insumos, maquinaria y recursos necesarios para garantizar la calidad, seguridad y continuidad de cada actividad.
  • Realizar el seguimiento agronómico de los cultivos, monitoreando fenología, sanidad, malezas, riego y condiciones del lote, utilizando datos y tecnología para la toma de decisiones.
  • Asegurar la trazabilidad y gestión de la producción de grano, registrando actividades y coordinando logística en siembra, cosecha y venta de cereal.
  • Gestión integral del personal, incluyendo coordinación de equipos, control de asistencia, horas trabajadas y jornales, seguimiento de novedades laborales y soporte a las necesidades operativas del sitio.
  • Actuar como referente en calidad, sustentabilidad y seguridad, asegurando el cumplimiento de procedimientos, estándares, uso de EPP y gestión de residuos, y comunicando riesgos, desvíos y necesidades de recursos.

Requisitos

Es indispensable para esta posición:

  • Experiencia aproximada de 5 años en operaciones agrícolas, idealmente en producción, ensayos o actividades intensivas de campo.
  • Experiencia sólida en producción de maíz, incluyendo actividades de siembra y seguimiento del cultivo.
  • Experiencia coordinando y capacitando personal temporario, con capacidad para manejar equipos operativos numerosos, de hasta aproximadamente 60 personas.
  • Manejo práctico de maquinaria agrícola, especialmente tractores, sembradoras e implementos de campo.
  • Perfil técnico-operativo con capacidad para planificar y coordinar actividades, pero también para ejecutarlas directamente en campo cuando sea necesario.
  • Sólidos conocimientos agronómicos, adquiridos mediante formación académica y/o experiencia práctica relevante. Título universitario no excluyente.
  • Perfil proactivo, autónomo y resolutivo, con capacidad para organizar prioridades y responder ante necesidades operativas del día a día.

Deseable:

  • Experiencia o conocimientos en sistemas de riego, incluyendo operación, seguimiento o aplicación en campo.
  • Afinidad con tecnología aplicada a la agricultura, como herramientas digitales, monitoreo de cultivos, sensores o tecnologías de riego.
  • Experiencia previa en Nursery, producción de semillas, breeding o investigación de campo
