You'll operate a range of machinery including backhoes, excavators, skid steers, graders, Moxy trucks and more, while working alongside a close-knit team in one of Australia's most unique farming environments. The roster From May to December, you'll work 10.5-hour shifts on a 4/3 roster (Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday), giving you a three-day weekend every week. From December to May, you'll work an 8.5-hour day, Monday to Friday roster. This is a casual position. What will you be doing? You'll spend your time:
Operating backhoes and other heavy machinery to harvest prawns Supporting pond remediation and farm improvement projects Completing civil and maintenance works including road repairs, firebreaks, waste removal and groundskeeping Operating trucks and other site machinery as required Working safely and contributing to our Zero Harm culture Supporting harvest operations at both our Proserpine and Mission Beach farms
What can you bring?
Experience operating a backhoe or excavator (essential) A strong commitment to safety and teamwork Confidence using basic technology, including iPads Agricultural, aquaculture, civil construction or earthmoving experience (desirable) Heavy Rigid Licence (desirable)
