What You'll Do as an Inventory Manager

  • Lead and develop a team of 4-5 receiving and stocking employees, setting clear expectations and holding the team accountable for results.
  • Oversee daily receiving operations, ensuring incoming shipments are unloaded, inspected, and entered into the inventory system accurately and on time.
  • Manage stocking and product flow, ensuring products are properly placed, rotated, replenished, and organized for efficient order fulfillment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records across 3,500 SKUs, investigating discrepancies, conducting audits, and coordinating the annual physical inventory count.
  • Identify and document vendor shipment issues, including damaged products, shortages, overages, and incorrect items, to support timely resolution.
  • Coordinate with purchasing and fulfillment teams to resolve inventory issues, address incomplete orders, and keep products moving smoothly.
  • Improve inventory processes, warehouse organization, and daily workflows to increase accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse that supports your team's productivity and efficient operations.

Our Ideal Inventory Manager

  • Inventory Experience: 2+ years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or receiving.
  • Leadership Ability: Confident setting expectations, guiding a small team, and holding others accountable; previous leadership experience is preferred but not required.
  • Detail-Oriented & Organized: Skilled at maintaining accurate inventory records, identifying discrepancies, and keeping warehouse operations running efficiently.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using inventory management software, barcode scanners, and tablets.
  • Hands-On & Dependable: Able to work on your feet in a warehouse environment, lift up to 50 lbs., and consistently follow through on responsibilities.
  • Integrity & Servant Leadership: Honest, humble, and committed to treating others with compassion while upholding our faith-based values.
