Wat ga je doen?

De Opleiding Plaatsvervangend Groepscommandant is een intensieve vijfweekse training voor manschappen die doorgroeien naar een leidinggevende positie. De opleiding wordt zes keer per jaar gegeven op de Koninklijke Militaire School in Ermelo. Je werkt met deelnemers die hun eerste stappen zetten in leiderschap en begeleidt hen in vaardigheden die zij direct in hun eenheid toepassen.

  • Je geeft les in communicatieve vaardigheden, leiderschap en commandovoering
  • Je begeleidt deelnemers tijdens LTV’s waarin fysieke en mentale weerbaarheid centraal staan
  • Je vertaalt jouw operationele ervaring naar praktische oefeningen en realistische situaties
  • Je observeert deelnemers en geeft duidelijke, toepasbare feedback
  • Je ondersteunt deelnemers bij het behalen van het ECOD Praktijkopleider certificaat
  • Je werkt samen met collega‑instructeurs aan een gestructureerde en veilige leeromgeving

Waar ga je werken?

Je werkt op de Koninklijke Militaire School in Ermelo, waar manschappen uit de hele Landmacht worden opgeleid voor hun volgende stap. De werkomgeving bestaat uit leslokalen, oefenterreinen en faciliteiten waar praktijkgericht leren centraal staat. Je werkt samen met instructeurs die zelf uit de operationele praktijk komen en die dezelfde standaarden en werkcultuur herkennen.

Je valt onder de opleidingsleiding van de KMS, met wie je regelmatig afstemt over planning, voortgang en inhoud. Overlegmomenten zijn gericht op uniformiteit, kwaliteit en het verbeteren van de opleiding. Bezoeken aan het hoofdkantoor in Heerle vinden incidenteel plaats. De opleiding duurt vijf aaneengesloten weken en kan worden ingevuld in voltijd, deeltijd of als zelfstandige.

Welke skills neem je mee?

  • Je bent oud‑onderofficier van de CLAS
  • Je hebt aantoonbare ervaring in opleiden en begeleiden, bijvoorbeeld via AIB, EIB of ECOD
  • Je hebt affiniteit met het ontwikkelen van leiderschapskwaliteiten bij jonge militairen
  • Je bent beschikbaar voor vijf aaneengesloten weken
  • Je voelt je thuis in een opleidingsomgeving waar discipline, structuur en collegialiteit centraal staan
