Wat ga je doen?

Als opleider bij de School voor Vredesmissies begeleid je overheidspersoneel dat wordt uitgezonden naar internationale missiegebieden. Tijdens de Missie Oriëntatie maak je deelnemers wegwijs in alle aspecten van een uitzending: van veiligheid en voorbereiding tot culturele sensitiviteit en lokale omgangsvormen. Daarnaast verzorg je gespecialiseerde VN‑opleidingen en veiligheidstrainingen voor uiteenlopende organisaties.

  • Je verzorgt lessen en trainingen tijdens de Missie Oriëntatie
  • Je behandelt onderwerpen zoals veiligheid, voorbereiding, cultuur en lokale context
  • Je geeft VN‑gerelateerde opleidingen voor waarnemers, adviseurs, liaisonofficieren en UN‑personeel
  • Je verzorgt veiligheidstrainingen voor o.a. politie, journalisten en internationale organisaties
  • Je begeleidt deelnemers in hun mentale en professionele voorbereiding op uitzending
  • Je vertaalt jouw missie‑ervaring naar realistische en toepasbare instructie
  • Je creëert een leeromgeving waarin bewustzijn, professionaliteit en weerbaarheid centraal staan

Waar ga je werken?

Je werkt bij de School voor Vredesmissies, een opleidingsomgeving waar militairen, politiefunctionarissen en civiele professionals samenkomen. De werkomgeving bestaat uit lesruimtes, oefenterreinen en trainingsfaciliteiten waar realistische scenario’s kunnen worden geoefend.

Je werkt samen met instructeurs en specialisten die zelf ervaring hebben in internationale of risicovolle omgevingen. Je valt onder een opleidingscoördinator, met wie je regelmatig afstemt over planning, inhoud en kwaliteitsbewaking. Overlegmomenten zijn gericht op uniformiteit, voortgang en het verbeteren van het onderwijs. TG‑collega’s zijn op meerdere momenten aanwezig. Bezoeken aan het hoofdkantoor in Heerle vinden incidenteel plaats.

Welke skills neem je mee?

  • Je bent oud‑onderofficier bij Defensie of hebt gewerkt bij de Politie
  • Je beschikt over instructieve vaardigheden, opgedaan binnen een overheidsorganisatie of civiele context
  • Je communiceert helder en overtuigend
  • Je kunt kennis toegankelijk en gestructureerd overbrengen
  • Je hebt uitzendingservaring of missieachtergrond en begrijpt de realiteit van internationale of risicovolle omgevingen
